SIDDHARTH'S POV

"Zubaan sambhal kar, Mr. Khanna."
[Mind your tongue, Mr. Khanna]

'I am a human.' I was sure about the statement until I saw some old sag using his mouth in front of her too much.

How dare he? Noone in the world held enough power to raise their eyes on her, not until hot blood still ran in my veins.

I doubt it was humanly possible to feel this much amount of exploding rage within a split of second. But, I felt it.

Beating, existing in my heart in its rawest form.

Every single fibre of my being quivered from the lethal dose of wrath brewing inside me, though a big fraction of the fire drizzled out of my eyes only.

Mr. Harsh khaan-, oh opps! Harsh, just harsh, closed his slightly darkened lips at my words. His cigarette slipped off, falling onto the grass beside a half burnt paper.

This backyard is my mother's heaven and this man-, I clenched my jaw.

I had absolutely no sign of any regard for someone who dared to disrespect her.

The veins in my forehead threatened to pop at the mere thought.

I broke the fragile glass of heavy silence by the thuds of my fast footsteps.

Four strides and I stood beside Myra, more than ready to take whatever bullet this man had prepared for my woman.

"Siddharth-"

"Meri biwi se iss tarah se baat karne ka haq kisne diya apko?" My eyes stared right into his soul and I found nothing but hollowness in there, hollowness painted with buckets of useless arrogance.

[Who gave you the right to talk to my wife like that?]

I gulped down a venomous degree of fury. Only I knew how I was keeping my hands to myself.

I was one breath away from lashing out, a second away from forgetting what relation I shared with this man.

"Tum iske karname sunoge, to ijjat se baat karna to dur, dekhoge bhi nahi iski taraf." He spat, not out of anger but actually spat on the ground.

[If you hear about her deeds, forget about respect! You won't even look her way anymore.]

My eyes narrowed, one blink later I actually registered what he actually did.

There was no anger but utter disrespect in his tone, like..like he was talking about a dirty insect.

He could start praying for himself now but alas! even that won't save him.

That was it, I snapped.

With one long step ahead, I shoved that man's shoulder harshly resulting in him stumbling two steps backwards. "Uska naam Myra hai."

My voice vibrated, a rumble roared in my chest as my sharp cutting gaze ripped him apart.

It took every drop of restraint in me to not punch him in the face.

I let his back hit the wall without a single care about the impact. He grunted in pain and tried to push me off but I didn't budge an inch.

My hands stayed right where they were supposed to be, on his collar.

An alarming kind of redness had clouded the rational parts of me, my grip over him was no joke; he might choke anytime.

Tara, who was standing like a dummy watching the scene unfold in front of her, showed a sign of life and let out a gasp as I almost knocked her father unboundedly.
