MYRA'S POV

"Girl, can you stop staring at your phone? What's even making you go all red huh?" A bored drawl followed by a huff which blended with the bustling of the vibrant crowd having fun in their own ways reached my ears causing me to look up from my screen.

"Nothing, it's just Siddharth being uh... Siddharth, yeah." I sank back into my chair, covering my embarrassment with a facade smile after giving the most idiotic response. Stella's upward directed eyebrows and look of "What the fuck" said it all.

"Let me see your phone." I vigorously shook my head side to side and hid the hot pot (my phone) behind my back. She stood up from her seat, ready to leap onto me to snatch what she wanted, "Show me why you were blushing."

"I wasn't blushing." I yelled loud enough to catch the attention of at least three tables surrounding us.

My embarrassment rate had been on a hike ever since I met with Siddharth. I agreed to accompany him to tomorrow's event, he should be thankful but no! He had to make fun- "Got it." My eyes widened as my hands felt empty. The thief aka my best friend had done her job.

"Stella! give that back right now." I whined and stood up from my chair, rushing after her. She stood up, stretching her arm upwards taking full advantage of her high heels while I ran after her in my shoes. "Tere aashiq ke messages mujhe bhi padhne de yaar.."

Wth? Was she drunk or what? She kept backing further away from me. My eyebrows tensed up, I could feel everyone's judging gaze upon us as we circled around our table like two wild cats. What a fantastic night to wear a printed dress with two ponytails!

"Stella, everyone is looking at us." I whispered yelled but she didn't react as if she had turned deaf to what I said. Shaking her head she continued to read our texts. If I were to die today, the first person I would hunt for in hell would be the one who invented autocorrect followed by the alcohol one.

I clenched my fist controlling the urge to climb onto the table and snatch my phone back from her. Everytime I tried to move my feet in one direction, she would shift to the opposite direction.

"Ohhhh~~ lick you up tomorrow at-"
That's it.
In a blink of an eye, I was standing at the table in the middle of the restaurant with my palm clasped against my friend's mouth, shutting her up before she could drown me further in the ocean of embarrassment.

Even the live singers missed a beat after seeing such an art piece.Their music must be shying itself in the corner after we collected more attention from people than it. Passing a short nod towards them, I gestured to them to continue.

"Imhjg,can-'' I pressed my palm against her mouth tighter, shooting her glares which finally caused her to cut her gibberish.Taking my phone back from her, I came down from the table before sitting back down, acting like I didn't just act like an insane person in front of at least 150 people.

"Phew! you almost choked me, woman." Stella exclaimed dramatically, tracing two fingers over her jaw as if I had punched her, as she sank back onto her seat. Not a crease of embarrassment on her forehead. By this time, I was convinced aliens had something to do with her.

"That mouth of yours is going to get you in big trouble one day." An annoyed huff left my mouth as I gulped down water hoping it would take away the redness of my cheeks. It didn't.

"Daam girl, since when did you get so kinky?" Stella wiggled her eyebrows, leaning forward. The corners of her mouth lifted up forming a smirk.
