SIDDHARTH'S POV
The thrill, rush of blood was still pulsating in my heart. I had never felt so unlimited yet connected to a home at the same time but the woman sitting beside me had a habit of making impossible things seem effortlessly true and possible.
So, I could easily give the credits of tonight's charm to her magic.
"The moon looks extra pretty tonight." Myra's eyes beamed as she admired the shining celestial body in the dark night while munching on her ice-cream cone.
"True." I responded while mentally tracing the faint lines and marks on her face, each of which carried a different memory with it, a memory of the life she had lived till now.
One had to look closely to see that pattern but God it was beautiful!
The kind of beauty which gently pricks your heart time and again because you are scared--what might become of you if you never get to see it again.
Leaning my back against the wall, I stretched my legs before letting out a soft sigh.
We were at a resort but it wasn't an operating one; not yet. Existing under the Kapoor's elite estates, the resort had a beautiful rooftop designed specially for stargazing with a beach view.
The finishing was yet to be completed so we still hadn't inaugurated it, which left the whole place empty to us except for a few workers who were downstairs.
After riding for around thirty around our house, I took the road which led us to an under construction apartment society.
The roads around which were absolutely empty and seemed particularly smoothened for my bike roar and race without any restraint.
Amidst the throbbing heartbeat and the thrill of the ride, the concept of time was somewhere lost.
It was only when we reached here at the resort that I realised it had been way past midnight.
I had already texted my father informing him about our whereabouts so they could sleep with ease.
"I am asking you for the last time," Myra pointed her chocolate cone at me. "Are you sure you don't even want to taste the ice-cream?"
"Eh..No-," I was about to shake my head but suddenly stopped and straightened my back, twisting my torso to my left where she sat.
"You know what, I changed my mind." Leaning forward, I looked at her confused and stilled self for a second. "I do want a taste."
"Hu-" Her words were yet to pass out of her lips before my thumb became a barrier to them as I wiped the smudged cream from the corner of her lips.
Myra was still not blinking, her breath itself was so shallow I barely felt it on my hand despite the negligible distance between it and her nose.
My eyes looked down upon my thumb, before I brought it closer and licked the ice-cream off it. "Hmm," I let my tongue map my lips as I nodded my head savouring the taste.
"It's yummy." My eyes found themselves again at the woman beside me, whose cheeks were oscillating blood at a much fast pace but definitely not as fast as my heart was right now.
Myra ended our 'little' eye game and averted her eyes elsewhere and slowly took another bite of her ice-cream while I? Well, I just smiled.
Though that smile was pretty short-lived since it died as soon as my eyes collided with one of the posters on the wall.
"Silverstone: Where legends race-And others just watch!
.........Silverstone is where champions rise. If you're just a spectator, you'll always feel the sting of missing out."
