"Cissy is pregnant" Sirius skimmed his eyes over the letter from his brother again. It didn't say much. Just that Narcissa was pregnant and their mother was sick. That was definitely meant to be a tool to guilt trip Regulus. There was no way Narcissa wasn't trying to get him back. She loved him. They were definitely the closest of the whole family, but Sirius knew Regulus would never go back home. He loved James too much.

"That poor kid" Remus frowned. "I would not want Lucius Malfoy as a father."

Sirius shook his head. "Me neither. I've met the man and he's not even nice to his relatives. Especially not Narcissa. His bloody wife"

Remus was sitting against the headboard of Sirius's bed. He was having a bad leg day, so he was taking it easy. Sirius decided to stay with him while James waited at the station for Regulus, who had finally graduated Hogwarts. Sirius was proud of his baby brother and how far he had come in just a few years. Sirius used to think Regulus was a blood purist just like the rest of the family, but he managed to fight back voldemort to oppose him.

"What are you thinking about, love?" Remus asked.

Sirius hummed, "just Reggie. I'm proud of him. And you."

Remus frowned. He knew Sirius was thinking about the cave. He was told all about it, and he knew all about Regulus's nightmares. The horrors he had to endure, and Remus was barely able to save him. His disability got in the way.

"I'm so glad he learned to brew wolfsbane. I just wish I knew him earlier" Remus whispered.

"Remus" Sirius frowned. "I'm sorry. If I was there for you-"

"I'm not blaming you. You had emotions you had to sort out. I can't antagonize you for that. I was the one who hurt myself."

"I know, I just- I feel like if i was there you would have been fine."

"I think it's a miracle this didn't happen earlier. Or that I didn't hurt myself more. I'd much rather be blind in one eye and a little handicapped than what some other werewolves had to endure"

Sirius nodded. "How are they? Have you been to visit?" Sirius asked in reference to the camp of werewolves they had met on their first mission for the order of the Phoenix.

Remus nodded. "Dumbledore has sent me a few times. They still like James better. But they've invited me to be with them on the full moons. I think I might take them up on that offer. I've been wanting to bring it up to the marauders, but we haven't all been together In so long. Maybe tonight If Peter is able to come we can discuss it?"

"I think that's a good idea. I'm worried, but it's a chance to learn more about yourself." Sirius said. "Plus if there's a moon that we're not able to be there for, you'd have them. I've been really anxious about that ever since we graduated"

"Yeah. I think its just a matter of time till Dumbledore disregards it and has you or James on missions during the full moon."

Speak of the devil, the front door finally opened, and Sirius practically sprinted out to the living room to tackle his brother.

"Reggie darling! Congratulations!" Effie pulled him into a hug, "I heard about your N.E.W.T's!"

"It's no big deal" Regulus just shrugged.

"Of course it is!" James said, "you got top scores on all of them

"Awe my brother is a big nerd?" Sirius grinned, leaning on the wall of the hallway.

"Shut up, I bet you failed all of yours"

"I'm going to go prepare dinner. I'll call you once it's done" Effie retreated into the kitchen.
