( Toodles and Windy ask Mickey and The Professor about their creation!)

Mickey was just bringing some boxes of flammer-jammers down to the garage storage room when he heard Toodles call his name. He looked behind him to see him and Windy flying their way over. He placed the box down and then jogged his way over to meet them halfway. " Well, hiya there you two! It's nice to see you! " Mickey greeted happily. The two mechanical creations waved. " Hiya Mickey " " Hello! " They cheered together. " What brings you to the Garage? I thought you two were going to go to the beach? " He asked while grabbing a towel from his pants pocket and cleaning his gloves. The two looked at each other and then Toodles spoke. " Is the P-P-Professor in the l-l-lab? " He asked and Mickey nodded but then his face slowly started to look confused. " What's the matter? Is something wrong? " Mickey looked back and forth to each friend. " N-N-Nothing is wr-wrong! Nothing! We just...h-h-have a question about s-s-something.." Toodles explained while lowering his voice near the end. Mickey was unsure but he nodded again. " Uh, alright then. Come on! "

Down in the laboratory, Von Drake was sitting at his desk and putting some finishing touches on a new invention. They looked like they were a pair of ordinary sunglasses but when you put them on, you could create food with just a simple thought! The " Food for Thought " glasses were a placeholder name for now but it was a pretty good description of what they did. The elevator soon rang and, without looking, he greeted who he thought was just Mickey. " Mickey Mouse! Welcome back, my boy! " He smiled, placing the glasses in a special case. He turned around and was surprised to see Windy next to Toodles. His heart seemed to ache with both a sense of joy and sadness. He had never seen those those two together. " Well well..." He managed to get out, " You two have finally met. " Von Drake smiled softly. Windy and Toodles smiled too.

" We met a few days ago when The Funhousers took Toodles over to Funhouse Forest to meet Funny, Teddy, and myself! " Said Windy. Von Drake looked confused. " The Funhousers? Funny? Teddy? What's that? " He asked. He looked to Mickey who was already looking at him. " I...We... I never told you about The Funhouse? " He gasped. " My My, secrets run in the family, doesn't it? " They joked more towards Toodles who began to giggle. The mouse and duck chuckled embarrassedly " I'll tell you all about him when the chance comes up...but, what did you two want to talk about? " Mickey looked to the two and found a seat next to the Professor. " We w-w-wanted...t-t-to know ab-about...us? "

All of a sudden, Toodles found it hard to ask the question that he and his sibling had been asking each other for days. Windy floated just a little closer for support. " We wanted to know why we didn't know about each other. Toodles and I found out that Professor Von Drake created us, " Windy paused, " Well, helped in my case, and we just don't see how we never crossed paths. " Von Drake took a breath and looked to Mickey. Alright, no better time than now...right?

" You were supposed to meet properly but Toodles and I were always oh-so busy with our adventures that there wasn't always time. "

" But I've lived in this garage for years now! There should have been times when Windy and I caught a glance at each other! " Toodles exclaimed, trying not to sound angry.

" That's true...and, if we are coming clean, You and Windy did meet but there was an accident. It was my fault, I should have been more stern about being careful. You have known about Windy all the time! Even when Mickey was first creating the rough draft! And when Mickey had finally finished programming them, you were beyond excited! They were young and didn't know as much as much as you but you two played a lot together. You two were a regular pair! A little brother and their big brother who flew just about everywhere to have fun. I always told you to be careful with them because they were still a work in progress but you two were young and you were too excited to have someone to be with! There was one time, Toodles, you were going too fast during a game of tag at the park...and you crashed into Windy. It was terrible.

You were black-screened mostly but there were still a few glitches of colour on you and Windy had a large crack in their chest so we rushed you two back to the lab. I did all that I could and, thank my lucky stars, you and Windy came back to us but...you couldn't remember anything. Not me, not Mickey, not each other, or a few other faces you had seen. Both your memory chips had been damaged and we had to salvage all that we could and save it onto brand new memory chips. I easily fixed Toodles's screen and Mickey replaced their chest right. Toodles, you had a few faces to remember but you couldn't remember Windy and Windy, you were just the same. We tried introducing you two again but you just weren't clicking so I suggested that we take you two separately to meet the other friends that you knew! I figured that if you remembered other people, you were SURE to remember each other but... we got so busy with other things..well.."

The two were stunned! So they had met each other but neither could remember it? That left so many more questions. What were they like? What exactly did they play together? Did they have the same likes? Dislikes? ...did they ever argue like siblings did? The two started asking questions, overlapping each other and startling the two inventors. Well...it HAD been years since the two had ever gotten to see each other again so Mickey and Von Drake started answering as much as they could as fast as they could.

THE END!
