It was quiet at The Funhouse and for good reason. Although he had gotten rid of the excess magic, he was now unbalanced and had to regulate himself. That meant, (whoopie!), having to let his senses be at their highest and then working to get them to be at reasonable levels. He groaned under his breath at the realization while Toodles handed him a cup of tea. He still couldn't see so Toodles was sure to be extra careful. " Windy called some-some-someone named ' Care-A-Belle ' and they said sh-she'll be here soon! You'll be able to open your eyes s-s-soon. " Toodles comforted with a quiet voice. Funny nodded and took a sip of his tea. That was the least of his worries, surprisingly, but at least it was a worry that would be fixed soon. " Thanks Toodles. " Funny said after he put his mug down.

He was exhausted, he didn't want to move, and he looked as if sleep wasn't a good friend of his. His hands searched the couch he was lying on but he couldn't find who he was looking for. " Teddy? Where are you, good boy? " He called out. In an instant, he heard the scampering of his beloved pet hurry to him and then he felt something jump to his lap and proceed to nuzzle his face. He felt a bit of joy surge through his body while he petted his dog. Teddy always made things better, no matter how rough the trouble was. Soon, Windy flew out of the kitchen with a cold rag, laid him down, and then placed the rag over Funny's eyes with a worn-out sigh. They may have not been the one who had the outburst but worrying over it and their friend was doing a number on em. Funny could feel it...and, because everything was heightened, it felt heavy.

" ...I'm sorry, Windy. I didn't mean to worry you with all of *this* stuff. " Funny mumbled, wincing from the initial touch. Windy began to sign but realized that Funny wouldn't be able to see so Toodles began to translate. " Th-Th-That's alright, Funny. I know you didn't, " Said Toodles, " b-b-but this is the second time that s-ssomething has happened to your eyes. " Funny let out an audible breath. That was true. " Maybe I'm just not meant to see? " He joked but he quickly regretted it when all three friends joined voices to protest the idea. His hands went to his ears and he whimpered softly which made everyone pipe down. They all said " Sorry " in their own ways. Windy chirped and Toodles translated again. " Don't say that, Fu-Funny. " " I'm sorry, I won't say it again. " As Teddy got Funny to start petting him, Windy suddenly had a question. It was a question that they had for a while but never knew how to ask till now.

" Funny? " Toodles translated, " Can I ask you a qu-question? "

" Sure! "

" Have you ever c-considered going to... ther-r-rapy? "

Funny felt his heart suddenly find a home in his throat. Therapy? He had heard about it and seen his fair share of movies and TV shows with it to know that he WASN'T a fan of it. They always asked the same pressuring questions that made the main character break down, they'd yell if you didn't answer their questions and they also got frustrated if you didn't answer right away. Besides, he'd be talking to himself. Whatever questions a therapist would ask him would be the same questions that he'd already asked himself. " ...no. " He stated flatly. The three looked at each other, uneasy from the slightly annoyed tone. Funny doesn't get annoyed often but when he does, it's not the best time to be around him. Toodles then spoke up for himself. " Therapy isn't as b-bad as you probably think! It's really nice and you get to v-v-vent out all of your problems to someone and it's like a weight is li-li-lifted off your chest- " " And it's placed onto the chest of someone else who's trying to help me. No, thank you. " Funny interrupted.

" Funny, " Toodles started, " talking about y-y-your troubles is okay, it doesn't make you a bad person...it doesn't make you a bur-burden. I had to learn that too. " They all noticed that Funny's breathing hitched for a few seconds. He was starting to tear up and he wasn't going to let them know that but he soon felt his chest buzz with a painfully happy feeling and he sat up, clutching his chest. " Ngh, C-Care-A-Belle is here. " He groaned, waving his hand down to set the stairs. Windy flew over to help her down the steps while Toodles and Teddy stayed close. " Ju-Ju-Just...think about it, okay? No pressure, hon-honest! " He sighed while putting his hand into Funny's. The Funhouse took the towel, that had fallen into his lap when he sat up, and started gently dabbing his eyes with it.

" ...alright. I'll think about it. "

THE END!
