Toodles allowed the GPS to guide him toward the darkened part of the forest and he was confused, to say the least. Wasn't Funny afraid of the dark? As he neared the location, he felt the strange sensation of being pulled in a different direction than the one he was supposed to be going. He paused and looked towards the direction he was being pulled and then squinted for a second before smiling. It was just his tracker telling him that Windy was coming! He flew off course by just a bit to meet his lil sibling. They hugged and exchanged much-needed smiles. " You know, I th-th-think it would be easier to find that Funhouse if we had a t-tracker on him the way we do! " He half-joked. Windy couldn't deny that it would make situations like this a bit easier if they could just be able to feel where he was the way they could with each other." You're not wrong..." They sighed, looking over to where they had just come from. Toodles looked over as well before pulling out his mechanical arm and holding Windy's hand. " H-H-Hey, he'll be okay! As long as he has fr-friends to help him through it, he'll be back to n-n-normal! " Toodles said with a genuine smile. Windy didn't look so sure but Toodles squeezed their hand with reassurance. " ...Oh! Oh, we need to fly up! Hurry! " They gasped, dragging their big brother high into the sky. Then, they seemed to remember something else and practically dragged him towards Funny. " Why are we g-g-going so fast?! " Cried out Toodles. " He's in the middle of having an outburst...and he's blind so we need to be there so he doesn't feel alone- " " WH-WH-WHAT D-D-DO YOU M-M-M-MEAN HE'S BLIND-D-D?! "
It didn't take long but they soon found themselves over many trees that blocked out the light but, if you looked close enough, you'd see a faint bluish and green glow from below. " Is that him? " Asked Toodles and Windy nodded. " How is he going to know we're here? " " He won't, for now. He can't focus on anything other than draining the excess magic and he can't sense anything but, when he finishes, he'll be looking for us. " They explained, squeezing Toodles's hand tightly. They never did let go but Toodles didn't mind. He squeezed back. Now, down below with Funny, he was gathering every bit of magic he felt in his body and was channeling it to create a covering over himself. He was jittery. Not just because he was having an attack but also because of the memory that kept pushing its way into his mind.
He was just a kid. Well, you were a kid in the eyes of any elder Funhouse. He was, truthfully, a younger adult who knew he was much older mentally than the people around him. His door was tightly shut. She hid underneath the kitchen table as the two adults who wanted her yelled at Funny to give her back but he was just as stubborn as those terrible parents. " SHE'S NOT YOURS! " The man yelled out, pointing a finger. Funny felt the anger that he had felt when he learned about how he had treated the girl begin to rise even higher. " SHE BECAME MINE WHEN YOU LEFT HER IN THESE WOODS! MY WOODS! " He barked back, his eyes narrowing. He saw the woman walk her way to his door and she began to yank on his door to open. How..HOW DARE SHE!
The door flew open for a second, which sent her flying back to the ground and then the door closed tightly. " You stay away from me. And her. You're not welcome here, anymore. Now leave us alone. " He ordered. He wasn't playing around...and it scared him. " I can't believe you would steal our daughter from us! You monster! " The woman cried. Funny felt his heartbeat quicken its pace. " M-Monster?! MONSTER?! OH, AREN'T YOU JUST A LAUGH! THE MONSTER IS THE ONE WHO LEFT THIS CHILD IN THE WOODS LATE INTO THE NIGHT WITH NO ONE TO PROTECT HER! A MONSTER IS THE ONE WHO MAKES THAT CHILD AFRAID OF HUGS! A MONSTER IS WHAT SHE'S HIDING FROM AND IT SURE ISN'T ME! "
He leaned forward, his eyes flickering. " Now I'm going to ask you for a final time: Leave us alone. " " Or what? " Tried the man. The Funhouse began to glow, his eyes began to slowly turn fully green and he soon couldn't see but he could still feel the two's presence. " Or I'll show you what this monster can do. " There was a second of quiet, the only thing to be heard was Funny's energy humming around him before he released and a shockwave of magic burst all around which frightened the animals, shook many trees, and left the adults unconscious on the grass. When Funny regained his sight and mind, he was horrified to see them on the ground. No no no!! What had he done?!
When Funny finally opened his eyes, he could see. Partially at least. His eyes burned and he had to squint but he could see! He managed to notice that he was surrounded by a thick cloud of green and blue but before he could react, it was taken away. He felt it rush past him and into the trees and then, he felt a rush of peace flow right into him and he stopped tensing. " ...thank you. " He said to The Forest and it answered with another wave of peace.
