( Here's a short story about what happens EVERY Nov 1st to Funny)
Funny's soft snores filled the air of Funhouse Forest. It was peaceful. A little chilly but he had his beanie and scarf on so he didn't have to worry about much. Windy and Teddy were inside, snuggled together on the couch while the fireplace was going. It was the ideal night. Halloween had just passed, and the clock had struck midnight which meant goodbye October and hellooooo November! Fall was starting to kick into high gear now!
Funny was just getting settled about his dream about going on a hike with a narwhal through The Enchanted Rainforest when he suddenly felt someone coming. Someone coming? Now? At this hour? That couldn't be right! Still, the warmth bothered him enough to stir him out of his sleep and to be...somewhat awake. He looked around. Everything was blurry so he had to blink a few times but soon, he caught a glance of a mouse below him. A mouse in red shorts and a Christmas sweater. Oh no. " M...Mickey? " He croaked out, having to clear his throat. " Hiya, Funny! Merry Christmas! " Cheered the energetic mouse.
" Christmas isn't until December Mickey.." Funny groaned. Every year, at midnight without FAIL, this mouse would show up to tell him this. Funny looked down again to see...yes..he had the wreath for his door. He groaned sleepily. " Aw, I knoww but ya never can be toooo prepared! " Mickey laughed. He waved the wreath while Funny looked at the reader. His face screamed " HELP ME! " before he returned to Mickey, yawning. " Mickey, can't this wait until morning? "
" Uh, it is morning, Funny! "
" Y-You know what I mean! "
" ...can I put the wreath on ya? "
Funny hesitated before nodding. " Yes yes, you can put on the wreath but then you're coming inside to go back to sleep. " Funny said sternly. He really wasn't himself because he wouldn't have used that tone with Mickey but he was sleepy and couldn't help it. Mickey nodded, skipping merrily towards the door.
" I never went to sleep! "
" ...I figured..."
