....Mickey was not a grudge holder, oh no, he didn't believe in that (fully, anyway) but the hours during the setup were surely a good reason to become one. Now, when Mickey said he didn't like being scared, he just meant big scares: Horror movies, jumpscares, big scare pranks, and things of that nature. He could handle small things like a fake plastic spider in a cup or maybe you just yelling " BOO! " if you were just dressed up as yourself or the occasional ' ghost in the closet ' or things of that nature. That being said, putting a ghost in the closet but having a skeleton under it so you could secretly make the hand grab at your victim, while creative, was something that turned Mickey's fur completely white from fright.

" Donald, for goodness sake, why won't you leave Mickey alone with the scares? " Asked Daisy while she finally finished up the last of the decorations with Teddy's help. Minnie had taken Mickey out for a walk in the woods with Pluto while there was still light out. Something told her that any later Mickey would have flat-out refused to step foot outside. Donald placed one last bat sticker on the water tank. " Hey, I've been scaring everyone here! I even got Funny a few times! " He reminded while turning to face Daisy. She rolled her eyes. " We're okay with scares, even the big ones, but you know Mickey isn't! Donald, it's not nice to scare people who don't want to be scared! " She frowned while he rolled his own eyes.

" But he likes Halloween! And Halloween is all about scaring people and being spooky! " He grumbled, " You can't like Halloween and not like being scared! " Daisy rubbed her temples. What Mickey saw in this duck was beyond her but she was determined to get Donald to see what he was doing wrong. Donald had just reached over towards another sticker to place on himself when The Funhouse Phone jumped straight into his chest, knocking him down. " Donald! " Gasped Daisy as she helped him up. " That's a first! " He said with a raise of his eyebrows. The Funhouse Phone? Jumping into his arms? What a miracle!

" Funny Funhouse, Donald speaking! " He answered, smiling a big. That smile grew wider when he heard the news for him. "Uh-huh! We'll be right there! " He cheered before slamming the phone down excitedly. Strangely enough, The Phone made a noise that sounded like a groan with the sound of birds twittering! ...another first. Daisy patted the receiver gently. " Who was that? " She asked. Donald pointed excitedly up to the ceiling. " Mayor Franken-Pete has something for us to use for the party! Some sort of decoration that'll make our party even better! " Daisy raised a brow. " Do we have time? " " The party isn't for another hour or so! Pleeeenty of time! " He shrugged, knocking on the tank, " Ohhhh Funny! "

Funny appeared on the tank, smiling. " Hmm? " " Mayor Franken-Pete has something for us in Halloweenville! Can you bring the stairs down? " Funny nodded and did just that as the music began to play. " Follow me, Donald! "

When the two made it through the door, they were greeted by an actual terrified scream which scared the both of them silly! They looked around and saw a bunch of monster kids running around, playing around and trying to scare each other. Both ducks felt their hearts slow down. " Oh look at you getting scared! " Teased Daisy. " Ah ah, I like a good scare remember? " He teased back. The two laughed before walking their way towards the center of town. During the walk, Donald and Daisy were passed up by most of the monster kids. I say most because there was one monster who walked just as slowly as they did. A mummy and she didn't look so excited to be around the noise.

Donald and Daisy looked at each other before looking at the child. " Hey there! Why aren't you playing with the others? " Asked Daisy, stopping and kneeling down to her level. She looked nervous...beyond nervous. She put her finger to her mouth and bit at her nails. " I...I don't wanna play with them. I'm n...not so good at Hide and Shriek.." She mumbled while looking down. Both ducks seemed curious and concerned about her. She didn't look happy and she seemed alone. " We're going to help set up a party but we need a decoration from the Mayor! Would you like to come with us to go get it? " Daisy asked. She took a second to think before nodding her head and taking Donald's hand. And the three started to make their way back towards the Town's center.
