Funny's Flu! pt. 4

The walk to Mister Yeti's cave was an enjoyable one! While everyone still hurried because of the urgency of their mission, they still couldn't help but admire the beauty of the snow! Kyle adjusted his glasses a bit while he told the trio a few facts about the flowers they were about to gather. "...and, if you crush them, they turn into snow! " Kyle said. " So they're very delicate? " Asked Minnie. Kyle shook his head. " Oh no! They're pretty strong, as far as flowers go, you'd have to crush them really hard or grind them up! " He explained, making his paws do a fist-to-paw grinding movement. When they got towards the opening of the cave, they noticed many patches of white and blue flowers surrounding the area and everyone cheered in delight! " Minties! Or Winteraniums as Care-A-Belle calls em! " Mickey exclaimed but just as Pluto and Mickey were about to pick a few, Minnie stopped them. " Wait you two! I just remembered we don't have anything to put the flowers in to keep them safe! " Gasped Minnie. Kyle took off his scarf, walked up to Minnie, and held it up for her to take. " Use this! You can use it to hold the flowers and Funny can wear it to feel warm! " He smiled. " Oh, Kyle! Are you sure? " She asked, hesitating to take it.

He nodded. " Funny always helps me out when I need it most, I wanna help return the favor! " Minnie put a paw to her chest and they all " Awed " before Minnie took the scarf. " How many should we take? " Asked Minnie as she lowered down. Mister Yeti counted his fingers until he got to ten. " Ten seems a bit much, doesn't it? " Minnie asked. The Yeti shook his head. " Mister Yeti just wants you to take ten so you can have extra for another time! Just in case! " Explained Kyle, " You really just need one flower to use and besides, they'll grow back quicker than before! " With that said and done, they got to work! While they had come for a few Minties, they left with a lot of " Get well soon! " wishes from nearly everyone in the Winter Mountains! Seems like Funny Funhouse was quite the frequent helper in these parts. Mickey waved to someone, promising that he'd tell Funny about their wish before leaning to the others. " Do you think Funny does what Windy does all day? " He asked. The others looked confused. " What do ya mean, Mickey? " Asked Kyle.

" Well, Windy spends his days helping out everyone in Funhouse Forest, and that's the reason we don't see them often, " Mickey started, " So do ya think the reason we don't see Funny all the time is because he's helping out aaaaallll the folks in the adventure worlds? " They all took a second to think before nodding and agreeing unanimously. " I don't doubt it! Everyone always has something good to say about him! " Minnie giggled. Suddenly Mickey's phone began to ring! Minnie and Mick looked at each other before he pulled out his phone and held it out for all to see. His phone showed a hologram of Rocket Mouse. " Hiya Mickey! " RT greeted. " Oh! Uh, Hiya Rocket Mouse! " He answered, his tail wagging from excitement. After all, even though he had known him for a while now, it was still surreal for his favorite fictional character to be talking with him!

" I was just about to visit Martian Mickey, Minnie, and Zoop Bloop when I heard about Funny! I'm so sorry to hear he's not feeling well! " He said with a sad frown. Everyone stared at the phone. How did Rocket Mouse hear about that?! As if he knew, RT soon answered. " Word travels fast around the galaxy! I was just wondering if it would be all right if I dropped off this ' Get well soon! ' card at The Funhouse? " He asked, reaching behind him and pulling out a lovely hand-made card. The pup and two mice nodded happily. " Yeah yeah yeah! " Panted Pluto. " Of course you can! Oh, Funny is going to love it! " Said Minnie with a gasp. That was so sweet! " Astro-nomical! " Cheered RT, " I'll see you then! Oh, and look out for other friends! I have a feeling that I'm not the only one who wants to show my appreciation to our Funhouse Friend! ¡Adiós! " When the phone hung up, they couldn't believe that the news had spread so far so fast! " I wonder how many friends might call to ask to give- " Suddenly, both Mickey's and Minnie's phone rung and they answered it. Minnie's had a hologram of Kooky Scientist von Drake and Mickey had a phone call from Cho Sook.

" Annyeonghaseyo, Mickey! (Hello, Mickey!) " Greeted Cho Sook politely. " Hiya Cho Sook! Nice to hear from you! " Said Mickey while he looked around to the others. Then Von Drake spoke. " Well hey 'dere Minnie! Oh and Mickey! " He declared with a happy tone. " Why, hello Kooky Scientist von Drake! " Giggled Minnie and then the two phone calls suddenly went in sync:

" I heard about Funny not feeling so well, can I send him a ' Get well soon! ' card? "
