The hours seemed to fly by and, before they knew it, they were packing everything in Clarabelle's van nice and snug in their take-out boxes. It was probably the hardest work getting everything into the van because they were carrying so much stuff in and out. It made them work up a sweat! Funny was carrying the last three boxes out when Daisy suddenly appeared from behind him. " Hey! I can take those off ya! " She said, the Funhouse jumping slightly in surprise. " Daisy! Phew, you startled me but I've got it! Its only three boxes- " But before he could finish, she took the boxes right out of his hands and hurried them to the van. Funny looked a bit confused, tilting his head to the side and tapping a finger to his head. They were only three little boxes, the size that could hold regular birthday cakes. He had enough strength (and more, unbeknownst to the others, but never mind that) to carry something like that. " Alright, you three, I'll see you all at Hot Dog Hills Park for the Bake Sale! " Clarabelle sang before driving off. All three waved cheerfully. " Hey, race you to the park? " Grinned Daisy before she ran to her car. Minnie smirked, dusting her gloved paws. " You're on! Come on, Funny! " She cried out as she hurried to her roadster. She stopped right as she grabbed her door handle when she noticed that Funny wasn't following her. He had watched Daisy drive off and then kept his gaze. " Funny? Funny, are you coming? " She called out, finally catching his attention. " Hmm? Oh! Yea! Yeah, I'm coming! "When they got to the park, it was like you were walking into a party! It took place mainly in the decorated gazebo but the area around was decorated just as nicely. Streamers of yellow and orange wrapped around the trunks of trees, the gazebo itself, and on the many decorated booths that had treats to sell. They were all lined in spaciously from each other but, oh, the smells couldn't be kept from anyone's nose! Especially Minnie's and Funny's! They hopped out the roadster and then jogged towards the fun with the intentions of making mental notes of what they'd buy. Soon enough, they met up with Daisy and Clarabelle, who were near someone selling banana pudding (oh, the self-restraint that Funhouse had to put on himself). They were putting things in place so Clarabelle and so Minnie and Funny jogged over to help out. While Minnie busied herself with Clarabelle by helping taking boxes out the van, Funny found himself getting a bit annoyed with Daisy. When he reached down to grab a particularly big box so he could help set things up, Daisy cheerily turned down his offer and she did it. Why did she do that? " Daisy, I could have done that! It wouldn't have been a problem, I promise! " He told her while crossing his arms. " I was going to grab it already! " She told him. His brow arched and he frowned at her. That didn't seem like the truth because she was focused on setting the other cupcakes on the table at that time! Suddenly, Daisy snapped her fingers with a grunt. " Doodles, I left my apron in my car! " She sighed. Funny perked up. " I can go get it! " He tried to offer but Daisy dismissed him again. " No no, that's okay! I can ask Minnie to get it! She's by the car anyway and that's a long run. " She said which made Funny's ears flick angrily.
" A long run? But I just did it with Minn- " But before he could get too upset, he simply nodded and then told her that he was going to walk around to see everything. Daisy nodded and told him to have a good time... but that was going to be difficult with the many emotions swirling in his chest.
