"Ro, I'm sleepy."

"I'm not."

She groaned and turned over onto her other side. "I want to go to sleep."

"I want to talk to you."

"I know you're driving to the next city and you're bored, but you have to understand it's two in the morning our time."

"Come on, I'm almost to my hotel, you can wait."

"Roman Reigns, we can talk in the morning."

"I don't want to talk in the morning, I want to talk now."

"You're not even talking about anything!"

"You're so cute when you're tired." he laughed, "Okay, okay, I'm walking into the hotel now, are you happy?"

"The minute you get into your room I'm hanging up."

"Ouch, babe, at least wait until I get into the bed."

"Maybe."

"Tell me about your day."

"I've told you about my day six times already."

"Okay, fine, I'll tell you about my day."

She groaned, "For the seventh time."

He ignored her, "Well, I woke up."

"I can tell."

"I went to the cafe downstairs in my hotel."

"And you got a bagel."

"And then I went to take a shower, thought about my beautiful wife while I was in there, wishing she was there with me."

She giggled, "You're such a tease."

"After my shower, I took a nap, and daydreamed about my wife and how I missed her and how I wished she was next to me as I took my nap."

"Awe."

"My alarm went off just as I was kissing you in my dream. Then, I went to the arena, got some catering, and I sat alone thinking about how my wife would love the food because she has a weird obsession with green beans."

"Okay, now you're lying."

"You know, I couldn't stop thinking about you and I missed you, and hated how things left off with you and my mom."

"That was a week ago."

"Yeah, but you're in a hotel room all by yourself, I haven't seen you in over a week because of the last minute stuff for work, and--"

"You're fine, but I do miss you."

She did miss him. She always missed him when he was away. The first day or so was manageable, but when a week came around and more days were unexpectedly piled on, she missed him like crazy.

"Are you hungry?"

"Huh?"

"When was the last time you ate?"

"Uh," Now that she was thinking about it, she wasn't sure she ate much at all today. "I think I ate a banana with Penelope earlier today."

"God, I know my wife."

"Meaning?"

"You never take care of yourself."

"I was busy today."

"No excuse."

"I'll eat first thing in the morning."

There was a knock on her hotel room door.
