3 weeks later:

"Roman!"

She scurried up the stairs in their new home, bursting into every room to find him.

"Roman!"

"I'm in the closet, babe."

"Baby, baby, baby!" She jumped up and down until he put his hands on her shoulders, "Roman, I can't believe it!"

He laughed at her, "What are you talking about?"

"I missed my period!" She squealed and danced around in a little circle. "We need to go get some pregnancy tests!"

"Wait, wait," he stopped her once again, "babe, you're not the most regular woman, that's what the doctor said. It could still come."

"It's been four days! I've waited, just in case, and it's the fourth day!"

"Have you ever been four days late?"

"Nope, never."

"Okay, well," he put down the clothes he was folding and putting into his drawers. "Your mom's downstairs with the girls?"

"Yeah, she's going to watch them while we're gone."

"I still think it's a bit crazy that your mom flew all the way out here to help with the kids."

Roman threw on some jeans and she was pulling him out of the house.

"How long is she going to stay?" He asked.

"However long we want her to."

Chase decided to let her husband drive without any fuss. She was too nervous to fight over who drove to the store.

"I can feel it, Ro, this is it." She bit her lip and looked over at him, "In a matter of minutes we'll know, and I can already feel it!"

"Hold your horses, we still have to buy the tests."

"I can't, baby, I'm excited and nervous and anxious all at the same time."

He saw that all over her face and in the way she held onto his hand the entire ride there.

"Here, get this one." Roman handed her a test.

"I don't trust them. They said I wasn't pregnant with London, and we both see where that ended up."

"Okay, how about this one?"

"Dollar tests aren't always accurate, Ro."

She continued to look through the rows of tests and her husband was confused at the difference between them all.

"Okay, this one." She showed him a huge blue box, "It comes with six. Grab another one for me, please?"

She smiled and started walking towards the check out station.

She noticed him looking around to see if anyone was looking at him carry around a huge box of pregnancy tests.

"It's okay, Roman." She gave him another smile, "they're going to stare."

"They're staring because we're walking around with twelve pregnancy tests. They probably think we're testing the entire WNBA."

"I have to make sure. I don't want false positives or false negatives."

They paid and walked out of the store with even more stares from the local people.

"This is really happening." She said, "I can't believe this is finally happening. I've been waiting and waiting and waiting and it's finally happening!"
