They laid in bed sleep one night and got one of the worst phone calls they could have received.

"Hello?"

"Roman?"

He recognized the voice as his mother's, "Yeah, Mom?"

His wife turned over and laid her head on his chest.

"It's your father."

"What's wrong?"

"We're at General Hospital right now trying to figure it all out."

Chase could hear the phone call since it was quiet in their room and about 3 o'clock in the morning. She looked up at him, seeing his concern.

"Okay, I'm on my way."

"Okay, hurry."

They hung up and Roman took a deep breath before looking down to see his wife wide awake.

"Something is wrong with my dad."

"Come on, let's go." She told him.

They got dressed and grabbed the kids, dropping them off at her parents' house.

The hospital was quiet and the only sounds you did hear were beeping and crying every now and then.

Chase held his hand because she wasn't sure what kind of news they were about to get.

His mom ran over the second they stepped out the elevator, bawling.

"Sweetie, he has cancer!" she yelled. "They ran every test in the book and of all things he has cancer!"

"Mom," he pulled her into a hug, "hey, it's going to be okay."

"Your father is all I have with all you kids out of the house, he can't die!"

Chase stood to the side in awe. She had been close to losing her husband before, but there was something different about this.

He took it hard.

"Baby, can you come here?" She called him from upstairs, knowing he was downstairs on the couch.

She heard him slump his way upstairs.

He walked into their bedroom and sighed. "Yeah?"

"Let's start getting ready, we have to leave in about an hour."

He nodded and walked into the bathroom, not even bothering to think of a response.

They were attending a wedding of one of the Divas, Rosa. She was very nice and Chase hung out with her a few times along with some other Divas.

Seeing him hurting so much hurt her. He was never the most social man, but he wasn't even communicating with her of all people.

It was about an our ride there and the entire time he made sure to keep his focus on the road.

She finally grabbed his hand, "When I was little I used to always beg my parents to take me to their fancy parties and stuff just so I could dress up."
