Have Some Faith In Him

"Come on, London, time to go!" I yelled, but she took her sweet time coming down the stairs, "London Nicole Reigns!"

She was three, but the way she talked and acted, you'd think she was a teenager or something. She scurried down the stairs and ran to me to grab my hand.

"We were supposed to leave fifteen minutes ago, London, you have to be faster!"

We ran to the car and I strapped her up before running to the driver's seat. I sighed and pulled out of Ada's driveway, and I drove as fast as I could without breaking the law.

This morning just wasn't going right for me...

I heard London talking to herself in the backseat. I looked in the mirror and saw that she was playing with her Mickey Mouse toy she adored. Oh, no. That was the same Mickey Mouse toy that was sticky from grape jelly.

"Give me that!" I held my hand back there for her to give it to me, but she held on tight to it and shook her head, "London, I'm not kidding, give it to me!"

"No!"

Oh, God.

I was stressed out enough, and I wasn't going to let my three year old daughter make me go insane. I slowed down and relaxed. The doctor's office would always be there. They'd understand.

I made it there about twenty minutes late, but I was calm. No need to worry. It was just any ordinary doctors appointment, with my same doctor, and the same nurses.

I signed in and to my surprise I was called back almost immediately, probably because no one was there except for me and another lady.

London and I sat on the table as we waited for the doctor to come in. They had already taken some blood to go test, and now we were just waiting patiently.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you so much this morning, baby girl." She crawled over to my side of the table and sat on my lap, "I'm really sorry."

I don't think she actually understood what I was apologizing for, but she snuggled her head right into the middle of my chest and closed her eyes. I knew waking her up at seven in the morning wasn't the best for her, but I was home alone this morning, so no one could keep her for me.

Ada and Aiden were with Dean in Colorado for the Monday taping of Raw. Then they'd stay for the Smackdown taping the next day, and then they'd be home Wednesday. But today was Sunday, so I was all by myself except for my little angel.

"Chase, it's so nice to see you!" Marta was my doctor ever since I was eighteen and old enough to get a doctor that didn't give me lollipops and stickers.

"Hey, Marta!" She bent over London to give me a quick hug.

"Oh, she's so cute when she's sleeping!" I looked down at London and she was peacefully sleeping. "How old is she now? Two? Three?"

"Three."

"She's grown up so fast!" Marta pulled out her charts and put on her gloves, "How's everything else? Everything good? Roman okay?"

"What did the blood results say, anything bad?"

She caught on to my sudden change in topic. Unlike Ada, she caught my drift and moved on from the subject and answered my question. "Oh, yeah, everything is fine. I was looking at your medical prescriptions and I don't think I've prescribed you any prenatal pills, so I'll do that before you leave today."

Wait, what? "Huh?"

"You know prenatal pills are important, especially for the first trimester of any pregnancy."
