"I love you."

"Are you just saying that or do you mean it?"

"I got you pregnant, if I don't love you, I need to start." He started to laugh, but I punched his arm. "Hey, I'm kidding."

"Now is not the time to be kidding."

I moved away from him and cuddled into my pillow on my side of our bed.

Roman had finally asked me to move in with him, and by that I mean I got pregnant and we sped up the process.

"Come here." He pulled me closer and kissed my forehead, "I'm only joking."

"Don't say it and you don't mean it."

"Boo, I love you, you know that."

"Don't force yourself to feel some type of way, Roman."

"That's not my first time saying it, babe, you know how I feel about you."

Pregnancy hormones. I wasn't even three months, but I was an emotional wreck sometimes.

"What if you don't like how the baby looks or something?"

"We made that baby, right?" I sniffled and looked up at him, "I'll love our baby no matter what."

"Say that again."

"I'll love our baby no matter what."

I smiled through some tears, "Say it again."

"I'll always love you and our baby." He leaned down and kissed me, "I love you, Boo."

"I love you too, Ro."

"We're just fine, I promise."

I snuggled close into his chest and he held me close.

I was scared out of my mind. Everything was going so fast, but everything seemed so perfect with us. I loved him, he loved me, and we were having a baby.

I loved waking up to him in the morning too. Work was heavy and him being home were the best times.

My eyes fluttered open and Roman was there looking at me with his gorgeous eyes. I could never explain to someone exactly what color they were.

"Have you noticed you sleep about an hour later now?" His voice was soft but deep. "Pregnancy has changed you."

"I'm tired a lot more."

"How'd you sleep last night?"

I felt him playing around in my hair and it felt great, sort of like a small massage. "Great."

I moved around and found a spot to lay my head on his chest, pulling the covers over us.

My left hand got up caught in the covers and when I got it out, there was a ring on it. My heart stopped.

I stared at it for a few seconds before looking up at my boyfriend.

"Will you marry me?"

"Roman, I," I couldn't even speak, "oh my, God."

"I love you and you're having my very first baby and I can't stop thinking about us together. And I know you're thinking that I'm forcing myself to do this because of the baby, but I'm not. Even if you weren't pregnant, I would still have the feeling I'm having now."

"Awe, baby."

"The baby is only a bonus, you know? I love you a lot and I've never actually felt this way before about anyone and I'm not a guy who expresses his feelings, but you bring that out in me and I want you to do that for the rest of our lives."
