Finding out it wasn't his baby felt like something was actually going right.

It was the big push we needed to get back on the right track.

It was exactly what we needed.

I woke up next to him and it seemed unreal. I wasn't used to it yet, even though it had been a few days since I had been back home.

I didn't remember how I slept next to him, but the minute I slipped into bed, everything seemed natural.

His strong arms always held me tight, and I always snuggled into his side because that's where it felt like I belonged.

Four days off of work seemed to be a dream to him. He slept in everyday, not that I minded because I knew he needed to rest.

I played around a little with his hair. It was all over the place since his hair tie came out after a long night.

He was so freaking cute. I see where our children got it from. They looked like him to me, but he always said they looked like me.

I missed him.

I slowly slipped out of his grip and went into the bathroom. I didn't care about being naked because this was my house, and I was finally home.

I grabbed one of his shirts he had thrown onto the chair in our room and threw that over my exposed body. The shirt smelled just like him.

Today wasn't a special day, but when my husband woke up, I wanted to look somewhat attractive. I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and even popped in my contacts so he could see my face.

I looked decent, I guess.

I walked back into our room and he had shifted, sleeping like a big angel.

Should I get back in bed? The girls weren't up, so I had nothing else to do.

I slowly crawled back in bed and lifted his arm up to lay back down. He tightened his grip and groaned, "Where did you go?"

"To the bathroom."

He groaned again, "Why do you have on clothes?"

"I don't know, I saw your shirt and just put it on."

"I like you better with no clothes..." his eyes were closed, but he smiled, "Last night was great."

"Agreed."

I tapped my fingers on his chest and he opened his eyes, "Shy on the streets, but sexy in the sheets."

"Only for you."

"Can I ask you something?" Roman turned onto his side, sitting up on his elbow.

"Yeah, baby, of course."

"Why did you and Michael break up?" I scrunched up my face, "The guy you were with before me."

"We didn't really date--"

"I know you, and you're not the type of woman to go out finding some random dude to sleep with because of something Ada said." He knew me too well, "So why did you and him break up?"

I sighed, "He, uh, he basically just wasn't who I thought he was. In the end, he stole money from me, which almost got me fired from my job, and he left without even telling me face to face. He left a note on my kitchen counter saying it was nice while it lasted but we couldn't be together anymore."

"Awe, Boo, I know that hurt." He hugged me under the covers, "He's stupid."

"Why did you ask that?"
