"Ob, were you bothering the uncles?" Brick's voice rang out. He'd come to the family's Bangkok shop that day. They'd only been back from Kanchanaburi for two days after a nearly month-long stay. Day had come to take care of some work, bringing Brick and the children along. Brick was now walking towards Ob, who was playing in the car repair section of the shop.

"I'm working," Ob replied, but Brick couldn't see him.

"He's over here," a mechanic smiled, pointing. Brick went over and saw his son's serious expression as he held a wrench, pretending to tighten a tire.  Seeing it was an old tire, Brick relaxed.

"Ob, are you working?" Brick knelt down to ask his son.

"Yes," Ob replied.

"Was he bothering anyone? You can tell me honestly," Brick turned to ask another mechanic.

"Not at all, Mr. Brick.  Whenever something was dangerous, we told him it would hurt if he got too close, and he stayed away," the mechanic replied, smiling.

"He also liked to get involved in the garage just like this when we were in Kanchanaburi," Brick said slowly.

"What are you all doing?" Day's voice came from behind. Ob looked up at Day.

"Daddy, I'm working," Ob quickly told Day.

"And is this hard worker hungry?" Day teased, causing Ob to immediately put down the wrench, stand up, and brush off his pants.

"Ob is very hungry!" Ob exclaimed. Everyone laughed.

"Okay, let's go wash our hands so we can eat," Brick said, taking his eldest son's hand and leading him inside, followed by Day. After washing Ob's hands, they went to their private dining room in the shop. Day had already ordered lunch.

"Wow, shrimp!" Ob exclaimed excitedly upon seeing Day bring him grilled shrimp.

"It's a good thing Ob isn't allergic to anything. He can eat everything," Brick's mother said, holding baby Anda.

"That's good.  He won't miss out on any delicious food. Now we'll just have to wait and see what Anda is allergic to when he grows up," Brick said with a smile, arranging the food.

"Mom and Dad, let's eat together. I'll put Anda on his table," Brick said. He'd prepared boiled pumpkin for Anda to eat with them. He would give Anda his milk later.  Once the children were seated at their usual dining spot, everyone started their lunch immediately. Day peeled shrimp for Ob, offering him soy sauce to dip them in, letting Ob eat by himself. The little boy ate neatly.

"Look at Anda! He's eating like he's in a battle!" Brick's father chuckled, seeing Anda grabbing and eating the pumpkin, smearing it all over his face.

"He's building his fine motor skills, Dad," Brick chuckled.

"We'll bathe him later. Let him eat," Day added.

"Did you call and make an appointment with the landowner?" Brick's father asked. Day had plans to open a large auto and motorcycle parts supermarket and he'd found a suitable plot of land near their housing project. The land was for sale, and it would be conveniently close to their home.

"Yes, I did.  The appointment is for three o'clock this afternoon," Day replied, as Day was going with Brick's father.

"Since you're going there anyway, Brick, why don't we wait at the mall? Mom can drive Brick. When Day brings Dad back, Mom and Dad can drive back home.  Day won't have to go back to drop us off," Brick's mother suggested.

"That's a good idea. No need for extra back and forth trips," Brick's father agreed.

"In that case, let's all leave together. I'll drop Brick and the kids off so we don't have to move car seats," Day said. Everyone agreed. Plus, it would give Day and Brick's two children time for an afternoon nap.
