"Nick," Non called out to Nick, who was wheeling his suitcase into the airport. Nick saw his brother and immediately went to him.
"How did you get here?" Non asked.
"Taxi," Nick replied. Non furrowed his brow. Tony put a hand on Non's shoulder and squeezed gently, to stop him from asking further questions. Nick's expression didn't look good.
"I already bought your ticket. Same flight as me, but we're in different seats," Non said.
"It's okay, I can sit anywhere," Nick said.
"Then let's go check in," Tony said. The three of them went to check in and proceeded into the gate area. Nick turned off his phone, knowing that if Neil got home and didn't find him, he would definitely call. Nick didn't intend to make a sarcastic point by running away like this, but he wanted Neil to think about giving Pam some space so Nick could have some peace of mind. Even though Neil didn't have feelings for Pam, seeing Pam's advances towards Neil made Nick feel bad. After sitting for a while, it was time to board the plane. He went to his seat.
"Want to switch seats with me?" Tony asked, noticing Nick wanted to sit with Non.
"It's okay, you can sit with P'Non," Nick replied with a weak smile. He went to his seat, which was in the middle. After a while, people started to board.
"Excuse me, could I get past?" A familiar voice said. Nick looked up to see who was going to sit by the window.
"Oh, Nick!" The voice exclaimed in surprise, not expecting to see him there.
"Kun, what are you doing here?" Nick asked, making room for Kun to come inside.
"You can sit by the window, I'll take your seat," Kun offered. Nick moved to the window seat, and Kun sat down.
"I'm heading home. And you?" Kun said happily, seeing his friend.
"Yeah, your hometown's Phuket, right?" Nick said, remembering.
"I'm going on a trip with my brother, but we're in separate seats," Nick explained.
"Want me to show you around?" Kun offered.
"Yeah, that'd be great. But let me call you back after I talk to my brother," Nick replied with a smile.
"But...where's your boyfriend, P'Neil?" Kun asked curiously, noticing Neil's absence. Nick paused before recounting his story to Kun. Nick felt comfortable confiding in him, as Kun also had something to discuss.

After Neil talked with Day and saw the picture Pam posted on social media, tagging Neil. It was a picture of the four of them. Although it was a group photo, many people who didn't know them commented that Neil and Pam were dating because they were sitting close together. More importantly, if Nick saw this picture, he might be upset. After his conversation with his friend, Neil rushed home. He didn't want to call first; he wanted to talk to Nick face-to-face.
On the drive home, Neil replayed everything in his mind. He admitted he was at fault for being careless about Pam. She insisted she didn't have feelings for him, but some of her actions were contradictory. And even though she brought him clients, she shouldn't have interfered so much in his work, or kept bringing gifts for his employees. Neil thought he'd kept a good distance, but actually, he hadn't.
Neil admitted he'd never had any romantic feelings for Pam; he wasn't attracted to her at all. He considered her just a friend.
It took Neil quite a while to get home because of heavy traffic. Upon arrival, he rushed out of the car and into the house, leaving his car outside the garage.
