Anda's birthday

Go back to when Anda was about to turn one year old:

"Anda's first birthday is just a few days away," Brick spoke, fanning his younger son, Anda, with affection. Ob was already over two years old.

"Daddy, Happy birthday?" Ob, who was building blocks with Day, looked up and asked when he heard Brick speak.

"That's right, it's Happy Birthday to Anda," Day replied.

"Papa, cake?" Ob turned and said to Brick again, causing Day to smile slightly.

"Even the child knows Papa likes to eat cake," Day teased back. Brick turned and smiled amusedly.

"Speaking of Anda's birthday, do we have to prepare ourselves to receive gifts from Mr Roman again?" Brick asked.

"Something like that," Day replied, because he knew Roman wouldn't fail to attend Anda's birthday party.

"Besides Mr Roman's, there are also gifts from our relatives. It's good that when Ob turned two, we asked not to receive gifts," Brick said, as he didn't want anyone to spend excessively on his sons every year. Just having them come to wish him well and to eat and blow out the cake together was enough for him.

"And for Anda's birthday, do you want to celebrate somewhere?" Day asked, as his partner wanted to change the venue.

"No, let's have it here at our place. It won't be too much trouble for others to come," Brick replied, as their house could accommodate many people already.

"Okay, whatever you say. Order the food the same way as before then, so we don't have to be tired," Day said back. Even though they wanted to cook their son's birthday meal themselves, they knew they would be extremely tired for sure.

"Night and Nick said they'd come to decorate the place for us. I heard them talking about ordering some decorations and a backdrop from online," Brick said, remembering. Day nodded in agreement.

"Hire P'Miles to take photos for us too, Day. When it was Ob's birthday, P'Miles's photos turned out great, the videos too," Brick said, as he really liked Miles's photography.

"Believe me, Miles won't charge anything. He'll probably give it as a birthday gift again, just like for Ob's birthday," Day said knowingly. Brick chuckled softly.

"That's true," Brick replied. At that moment, Anda crawled towards Ob.

"B, B," whenever Anda called out to Ob, Brick would secretly chuckle, because it reminded him of a frog croaking "ib-ib." Ob turned to look at his younger brother and smiled at him. Anda then crawled over and held onto Ob's shoulder to help himself stand up.

"Nong is heavy," Ob said to Day, as Anda put his weight on him to stand up. Day laughed softly.

"Then should we cut off his milk for a bit? So Nong can be thinner," Day playfully asked.

"No, no, Nong is hungry," Ob immediately replied. Brick smiled fondly, seeing that Ob was concerned about his younger brother. Once Anda could stand, he tilted his head to look at his older brother and gave a sweet smile. Ob, seeing his brother smile, couldn't help but turn and hug him.

"Daddy, Nong is cute," Ob said, causing Day and Brick to look at each other and smile.

"Ob is also cute. Anda is cute too. Both are cute," Brick praised with a smile. Cotton walked over and lay down beside Anda, causing Anda to sit down and then turn to hug Cotton.

"I suspect Cotton is jealous, so he came to let Anda hug him," Brick commented. Day gently petted Cotton's head.

"We'll have to have the housekeeper clean all the guest bedrooms too, because many people will be staying at our house," Day said, thinking of the number of people who would be staying.
