"Ready?" Day asked once they were all settled in the car.

"Ready!" Ob replied immediately, causing Day and Brick to smile at each other. Today, they were taking Ob to an indoor amusement park for children located in a mall not far from their house. Brick had told Day he wanted Ob to spend time with other children his age, as he mostly interacted with adults. He wanted to see how he behaved around his peers, so they wouldn't have to worry so much when he started school. Day chose a nearby amusement park for convenience.

Once their son was ready, Day drove off. They arrived at the mall quickly. Day and Brick were used to taking their children out, so they were well-prepared. This time, Ansa didn't want to sit in his stroller, so Day put him in a child carrier backpack. Brick pushed Ob's stroller alongside, with Ob walking in the middle. Anda spread sunshine with his smiles and greetings to everyone they passed, making Brick a little embarrassed.

"Anda, how much more friendly can you get?" Brick said, half-joking. Day smiled slightly before glancing down at his older son, who was walking with a serious expression.

"He's putting on a show. He's not like this at home," Brick said about Ob.

"It's called 'maintaining composure'," Day teased.

"Composure? What composure does a child need?" Brick retorted, pinching his older son's cheek. Ob looked up at Brick before smiling at him. Soon, they reached the indoor amusement park, a spacious area with ball pits, inflatable houses, climbing frames, and numerous slides. Day bought Ob a ticket, while he, Brick, and Anda would sit at a table near the playground, which offered a good view of the children.

"If it weren't for the kids, Day, you wouldn't leave the house much," Brick teased his lover. Day smiled slightly before Brick put down their belongings and sat down.

"Ob, would you like to go play inside?" Brick asked his son. Ob's eyes were fixed on the playground with interest.

"Yes!" Ob replied immediately.

"Daddy and Papa are letting you go play, but you have to go alone. There are lots of friends inside. You have to play nicely with everyone. Don't tease them like Papa taught you. Remember?" Brick explained to Ob.

"Papa come too," Ob wanted Brick to come in as well.

"I can't come in. That's for little kids like you. Daddy and Papa are too big; we'll break the toys," Brick said. Ob furrowed his brows slightly, looking hesitant, but finally nodded.

"Daddy and Papa will wait right here. If you go inside, you can see Daddy and Papa, and Anda too," Day said gently.

"Okay," Ob replied. Brick then took Ob to the entrance and let him go play with the other children. Ob went inside, starting with the ball pit. Brick sat down with Day, watching Ob playing alone.

"Do you think our son will make any friends?" Brick asked worriedly.

"He will," Day replied, before turning his attention to Anda, who was chattering incessantly. Day and Brick played with Anda, occasionally glancing at Ob. They saw him starting to play in other areas, joining other children. Other parents were sitting outside watching their children, just like Day and Brick. After a while, Ob ran out, his cheeks flushed from playing.

"How was it?" Brick immediately asked his son.

"Water," Ob said. Brick quickly gave Ob the prepared water to drink.

"Did you have fun?" Brick asked his son.

"Fun, but the kids are loud," Ob replied. Day and Brick looked at each other and chuckled softly. Brick gently squeezed his son's cheek affectionately.
