("So, you're bringing the little ones back to play Songkran in Kanchanaburi?") Phai's voice wasn't loud as he spoke to Day, who was currently at the first branch of the automotive accessories shop with Brick.
"Yeah, I've agreed with Brick. Tell Ingfah too, that I'll take the kid to see her," Day replied.
("Uh-huh,") Phai responded, then they discussed a little more business before hanging up.
"When are we going?" Brick asked.
"Let's go around the fifteenth. We'll finish honoring the elders with water-pouring rituals properly, then we can go. Anyway, they're still playing in Kanchanaburi on the seventeenth," Day replied.
"This is considered Anda's first Songkran. Last year he was too little. I should buy a small water gun for him," Brick said with a smile before picking up his phone to order water guns for his two sons.
"I'll try calling Neil, Nick, Gear and Night first to see if they'll go with us," Day said, then tapped his phone to call Neil and Gear. His two sons were at Brick's parents' house, which was next door to both shops, so he didn't need to worry too much. Day spoke on the phone for a while before hanging up.
"Are they going?" Brick asked. Day nodded in confirmation.
"We'll meet them around late morning on the fifteenth," Day replied.
"Hmm, closer to the date, call Bank and have him find someone to clean the house for us. We haven't been back for over two months," Brick said. Day nodded in agreement and continued working. Brick, meanwhile, continued looking at cute water guns for his sons.
"Papa!" Anda's voice rang out as he toddled into the study, holding something yellow and round in his hand.
"What is it, sweetie?" Brick immediately put down his phone and turned his attention to his youngest son.
"Pew pew," Anda said, scrunching his face. Brick looked at what his son was holding and chuckled softly.
"Of course, that's sour. Do you like to eat it?" Brick asked in return. Brick's mother also walked in.
"Here," Anda offered a Siamese gooseberry to Brick, who took it with a smile.
"Thank you," Brick said. Anda smiled back and then went to Day. The little child toddled over, clung to Day's leg, and tilted his head and body back and forth.
"Peekaboo!" Anda chirped. Day chuckled softly, then lifted his youngest son onto his strong lap and kissed his cheek.
"Where's Ob?" Brick asked, inquiring about his eldest son.
"He's with his Grandpa. I suspect we'll have another mechanic soon. No different from Salmon at all," Brick mother replied with a smile. Brick guessed his son was probably playing at fixing cars there.
"Mom, we'll going to Kanchanaburi on the fifteenth," Day informed his lover's mother.
"Okay," Brick's mother replied, then sat down to chat about general matters. Day sat chatting and playing with Anda for a while. The little child couldn't stay still for long before he wandered off, playing in the study.

April Thirteenth
Day and Brick took their two sons to visit Brick’s parents to make merit at a temple near their home. They wore matching white t-shirts, with only their pants differing in color. Anda also had a cream-colored hat that he wore. They proceeded to offer Kathina robes, having bought the items the day before. During Songkran, the roads in Bangkok were a bit emptier because many people returned to their hometowns or traveled to other provinces. However, some streets were closed off for people to play Songkran.
