Going back to when Ob was about to turn one year old:

"Screech! Splish splash!" Ob's shrieks and laughter filled the air as Brick was giving his child a bath in the baby bathtub.

"Ob, you've gotten me all wet," Brick said, but his lips curved into a smile of amusement. His son was splashing water playfully, sending it flying at him, and then laughing at him too.

"Splash, splash," Ob said, still beating the water with his hands, which made Day unable to resist peeking in to watch.

"Heh heh, might as well bathe with him," Day said.

"I'm already bathed. Do I have to do it again?" Brick grumbled, not seriously.

"Why does this feel like when I used to bathe Cotton?" Brick said with a smile. Because when he bathed Cotton, he'd get completely wet too. So lately, he'd taken it to a grooming salon.

"No different," Day replied. Brick chuckled, then quickly finished bathing his son. Once done, Day took over dressing their child because Brick had to change his clothes.

"When you're with Daddy Day, you're so well-behaved, my son," Brick said humorously, seeing how Ob was patiently letting Day dress him, even babbling about things to Day that were still difficult to understand. Day could only reply, 'Yes, yes.'

"Today, my son is so handsome. And very fragrant too," Brick said, then playfully pinched both of his sons' cheeks. Ob squirmed away from being tickled.

"Have you finished packing your son's things yet?" Day asked because he was going to take Ob and Brick to the Bangkok branch together. Brick's parents had asked him to take Ob along.

"It's ready, but I haven't put it in the car yet," Brick replied. He was starting to get good at packing for his son because he did it often.

"Then carry the child, I'll take the luggage to the car myself." Day replied. Before they went down from the bedroom, Day picked up the bags and put them in the car. Brick took Ob to talk to Cotton.

"Cotton, guard the house for me. Aunt Jan will bring you food later," Brick said to Cotton, who wasn't going with them. Cotton jumped as if wanting to play with Ob, making Ob laugh non-stop. Upon seeing Ob laugh, Cotton seemed to understand and jumped to play several times for Ob.

"You'll be out of breath soon," Day said exasperatedly after putting the bags in the car. He then went to call Jan to entrust Cotton to her care once more. Jan readily agreed. Meanwhile, Brick took Ob to sit in the car seat. When everything was ready, they set off.

"Day, have you ever seen that virus clip of 'Mr. Ra' where a woman teaches how to call 'Mama'?" Brick asked from the back seat with Ob.

"The one that when you play it, the child smiles like that?" Day asked back.

"Yes, yes, that's it. Do you think if I try playing it for Ob to hear, Ob will react?" Brick asked back.

"Let's try it," Day replied.

"I'll try it when we're stuck at a red light. Then we'll see," Brick said with a smile before taking Day's iPad and opening the clip in anticipation until they stopped at a red light.

"Day, Day, I'm going to play it now," Brick said. Day leaned over to look at his son and Brick. Little Ob was currently hitting at a toy that Brick had hung for him. Then the sound of the clip starting played.

"Hi, Hello. Can you say Mama Mama." The woman's voice rang out, causing Ob to freeze. He turned to look at Brick, then broke into a wide smile and kicked his feet back and forth.

"Haha, look, Day, Ob likes it too," Brick said with a smile, then turned off the clip because he didn't want their son to look at screens too much yet. Day, seeing this, let out a soft chuckle.
