Christmas Day

"The parents' LINE group for Ob's school sent a message saying there will be a Christmas event soon. The children will have a performance, so they're inviting parents to join the school activities," Brick explained to Day in brief after reading the school LINE group.

"Hmm, and is our child performing anything?" Day responded and asked back.

"He's performing a dance to a song," Brick said with a smile, as the teacher had already provided the list. Day raised his eyebrows slightly.

"Hehehe, our Ob, huh?" Day asked again to confirm.

"Yes. Even if you try to act like you've never seen your child dance before, Ob used to dance often before he even started school," Brick said with a smile.

"Do you think he'll be shy?" Day continued to ask.

"I don't think he'll be shy, but he might act a bit serious," Brick said slowly, as he could picture how his eldest son's face would look when dancing at the school event.

"But before you worry about whether our child will dance or not, let's worry about this instead," Brick said, bringing up the topic. Day raised his eyebrows slightly, wondering what Brick was talking about.

"If I tell everyone in our friends' LINE group, do you think we can bring everyone to Ob's school? I'm sure everyone will try their best to come see Ob," Brick said with a sigh of resignation in advance. Day paused for a moment.

"Then add that the school is limiting the number of people who can watch the children. We can record a video to show later. If everyone goes, the school will be in chaos," Day said, picturing it in his mind. He wasn't just imagining that his son was loved by everyone; it was truly the case.

"Hmm, that works. I'll try to post it in the friends' LINE group first," Brick replied before sending a message into the friends' LINE group. It stated that on December 24th, Ob would be participating in a song-and-dance activity at school, but the school was limiting the number of parents as Day had mentioned. That alone nearly caused their friends' group chat to explode. Everyone wanted to go see Ob dance. Roman was even more so; he even wanted to fly to Thailand just to see Ob. Day, reading the messages in the group, chuckled softly and shook his head.

"Let me try asking the teacher to be sure about how many followers we can bring," Brick said and then messaged the teacher privately. After a short conversation.

"Day, the teacher said if it's the two parents, plus two followers, that's a total of four people. If there are more than that, we'll have to discuss it further," Brick reported back.

"I think it's enough if we just go, the four of us. Let's not bring too many people; we should be considerate of the school," Day replied.

"So who else do you want to bring?" Brick asked back.

"Dad and Mom. No, can we add one more person? You ask the teacher," Day said.

"Add who?" Brick asked back.

"Miles," Day replied, making Brick's eyes widen and his smile broaden.

"That's right! We should hire P'Miles to take photos of the kids. I wonder if he'll go with us. I'd better message him first, just in case he's busy," Brick said enthusiastically and immediately messaged Miles. Not long after, Miles replied, making Brick beam.

"Day, P'Miles agreed! So I'll tell the teacher we're going as five people," Brick said with a smile. After informing the teacher, the teacher agreed and asked for a list of the people attending. Brick sent it straight away because he knew everyone's full names.

"Okay, all set. I'll let our friends in the group chat know that they can wait to see the video from us," Brick said as he explained to his friends in the LINE group. Everyone was disappointed but understood. Roman emphasized that they should send a video. If possible, he also wanted them to do a group call so they could watch live online. Brick asked to review it first, not knowing how busy he would be that day.
