"Huh? What did you say? Five hundred thousand?" Brick's voice came out in shock when he and Day met Nan and Mac at the mall in the afternoon. They decided to have coffee and discuss some business at the same time, as Day had to pick Ob from school.

"Yes, Keith called last night. Mr. Roman said to let me handle it. He wants to know where he should donate," Nan said again. This was because Roman and Keith knew that Brick was going to make merit at an orphanage during his birthday. So Roman wanted to contribute some money for the donation as well.

"Then, if we're going to donate, let's donate in Mr. Roman's name, Day. As for our part, we'll donate separately. I don't want to donate his money in my own name," Brick said. Day thought the same way as Brick.

"Hmm, we can do it that way. I'll tell him later," Day replied.

"And what about feeding the children? Where are we going to go?" Mac asked.

"Wat..." Day said the name of the temple.

"Brick and I did some research. They take care of hundreds of orphans there, both older and younger children. The monk also sends them all to school. We plan to provide meals, buy things for them, and maybe also give some money to the monk to cover the children's educational expenses," Day explained, as he had already discussed it with Brick.

"I've heard of that place, too. It would be great if it's there, Hia," Nan replied.

"And what about the food? Are we going to cook it beforehand or cook it there?" Mac asked.

"The temple has a kitchen. It would be better if we buy fresh ingredients and cook there. Since we're providing lunch, the kids will get to eat a hot meal. But we'll have to discuss again what dishes we're going to make," Brick replied, as he had already called the temple to ask a few things.

"How about we cook rice and make three or four side dishes?" Day suggested. Brick, Nan, and Mac all agreed, before helping each other brainstorm a varied menu, considering the different age groups of the children, as well as discussing other items they would donate.

"So, who's coming, Hia?" Nan asked, wanting to know how many people they would have to help.

"The ones who are confirmed for sure are Gear, Night, Neil, Nick, P'Tip, P'Jan, and Dad and Mom. As for Mr. Kamol's side, they said they'll give us an answer in a couple of days. If they can't make it, they'll contribute money instead," Day replied.

"Then we'll have enough people to help with the cooking," Nan said. Even though most of them were men, they knew how to cook and could definitely lend a hand.

"I'll call the head monk again to ask how many children there are, their ages, and the boy-girl ratio," Day said. Everyone nodded in agreement and continued discussing the preparations for a while longer until it was time to pick Ob up from school.

"Day, you go pick up our son by yourself. I'll wait here with Anda. We can get some shopping done, and then we'll just have dinner here," Brick said, since Anda was already with them. Right now, Anda was asleep in his stroller, and Brick didn't want to move him into the car just yet.

"We'll stay and keep Brick company, Hia," Nan offered, since the two of them didn't have any other plans. Day nodded in acceptance before heading off to the school to pick up Ob alone.

"Anda is such a heavy sleeper. The sound of people and the mall announcements are pretty loud, but he can still sleep through it," Mac said with a smile as he leaned over to look at his sleeping nephew.

"He'll wake up soon. It's about time," Brick said. They remained seated at the coffee shop. Not long after they resumed their conversation, Anda woke up. Brick took his son to the restroom to wash his face before bringing him back to Nan and Mac.
