After Day talked to Pat, Pat didn't interfere with Day's family anymore. They only discussed work-related matters. Day felt relieved after seeing that Pat had come to tell him that he would seriously talk to a psychiatrist.

Time passed, and now little Ob was 11 months old. The little boy's development was going well. Day and Brick had spoken with Pim, who would come to conduct a health check and prepare for surrogacy for the two of them in November because they wanted Ob to turn one year old first.

Day and Brick were raising little Ob very well. All the aunts and uncles often came to visit their nephew, especially since Ob was now adorable and had begun to speak a few words, making everyone eager to have him call their names.

"Ob is so great, my son!" Brick's voice called out as he sat by the pool at a children's swimming school. Brick clapped for his son, who was diving underwater from his lessons. The one in the pool with little Ob was Day. Both were very focused on learning and encouraging their child's development.

"Papa," little Ob called out for Brick with a smile that showed his bottom teeth upon hearing Brick's praise. Day chuckled softly before continuing to help his little one practice swimming. Brick complimented him throughout, motivating the little boy to keep swimming until the time was up. Brick picked him up to go shower and change clothes, while Day also went to change.

Smooch, smooch.

"Whose cheeks are these? They’re so sweet!" Brick said as he kissed each of his son's cheeks.

After getting dressed, they brought him out to wait for Day.

"Happy, happy, Papa," little Ob laughed before resting his head on Brick's shoulder.

"Oh, Daddy Day is here!" Brick exclaimed when he saw Day walking towards them. Little Ob turned to look and, upon seeing Day, smiled widely and squirmed.

"You’re so lively!" Day said with a smile before helping to carry some things for Brick since Brick had to hold their son while heading to the car. They waved goodbye to the swimming instructor and went straight to the car.

"Food, food, milk, milk!" little Ob exclaimed as they arrived at the car.

"Swimming wears you out, huh? That’s why you’re asking for milk," Brick teased his son before turning to Day, who was putting things in the trunk.

"Day, could you please mix the milk for the baby?" Brick asked Day.

"Should we let him eat first?" Day replied. Brick nodded in agreement. Day started the car, letting Brick seat the baby in the car before he prepared the milk, and Brick laid little Ob on his lap.

"What do we do first?" Day asked as he was about to hand the milk bottle to little Ob, who reached out for it.

"Jib," little Ob raised his chubby hands together in a greeting pose, making both Day and Brick smile with affection. Brick had taught him to bow like this even though his hands weren't perfectly aligned; little Ob had learned what to do. He was developing quite well.

"So good!" Day praised, handing the milk bottle to his son. Little Ob took it and immediately began to suck on it hungrily, while Brick gently stroked his son's round cheek with his finger.

"Are we heading straight to Grandma's or back home first?" Brick asked since they had plans to have dinner at Grandma’s house, where everyone really wanted to play with the grandchild.

"Let's go. It’s already two in the afternoon," Day said after checking the time, and Brick nodded in agreement.

"I heard Dad say that Grandma hasn’t been eating much lately, so we thought it would be nice to take little Ob to see her for a bit," Brick mentioned, as Grandma was getting older.
