Chapter Twenty Four:
I Didn't Mean For Anyone To Get Hurt

~POV: Aaron~

It had been a week since I was released from the hospital. Everything was back to normal, I was alone, Jaiden and I still went out to lunch every week, I spent my days hanging out with the guys or doing nothing.

I threw on my jacket on as I walked out. Jaiden stood against my car, a smirk on her face. Her sea green eyes glistened in the light. She wore black skinny jeans, a Not Alone Of Mice & Men Shirt, and combat boots. I laughed. I was wearing black jeans, an Outsiders Insert Tittle Here shirt, and combat boots as well. I laughed.

"Well, this is funny." I laughed. She laughed as well. I hugged her. "How are you?" I asked.

"Fine. And you?" She hugged me back, burying her face in my neck. I sighed.

"Great, now that I'm with you." I said. I gently kissed her cheek. She giggled.

"You are so cliché." She said. I let go of her. "So. What do you want to do?"

"I was thinking either going out or hanging out here..." I said with a wink. Jaiden smirked and started walking into the house.

"So I got all dolled up just for sex?" She joked. I laughed.

"No. I just was wondering if you would show me that song you've been promising to show me..." I said. She laughed and took off her jacket, hanging it up. We walked to my music room where Jaiden took my acoustic guitar and sat down. She started strumming a few notes. It was beautiful.

"I'm confused
Looking behind all these lies
Seeing the truth that you hide
Listening in doesn't amount to the conversation I'm hearing flow from their mouths
Pulling and tugging me two ways
Not sure what I did to deserve all this pain I feel inside

Wanting it to feel right
Hide all the pain inside
Tuck it away
Now just lie
Lie beside me for one more night
One more night with you, love
Don't be scared now
Just go
Go to her now
She wants you
She needs you

Try and make it feel right
Lie my way through these nights
Hide my true feelings
I'll always want you as mine
Take my hand now
We'll be together when it ends
Hide it all
I know it hurts you, too
I'll be by your side
Realize or not
I'll be by your side till the end

Waiting patiently
He watched from across the room
Waiting for his chance to come home
Home is where your heart remains
Funny his lies with her
The pain that he feels is incomparable
Unless you put it to mine
The pain of the heart is too much
Hide it away isn't enough

I'm confused
Behind all my lies is the truth
Behind all my pain lies this love
The love that can break me
The love that can make me be whole
Cause without him I'm never enough." She finished. Her voice was absolutely beautiful. "I know." She started. "I absolutely suck at writing songs." She shrugged.

"No. It was beautiful." Then I remembered. "Was that really how you felt about the break up?" She nodded and looked down. I lifted her face up and kissed her deeply. She kissed back. We kissed for a minute, our lips moving in perfect sync. I rested my forehead against her's.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you, too." She said, gently playing with my hair. I stood up, both of us letting go. I picked her up bridal style. She put her arms around my neck. I carried her to my room and laid her down on my bed. I got on top of her and straddled her waist.

"Show me how much you love me." I said with a smirk.

I pulled out of her and laid down beside her. Jaiden closed her eyes, she was breathing heavily. I pulled the sheets over our sweaty bodies.

"That was amazing." I said. Jaiden nodded. She found her phone on the floor she sent a text or two. "What was that?"

"Texting Shay that I'm staying at Taryn and Austin's, then Taryn to cover for me." She said. She put her phone back on the floor before snuggling up against me. I wrapped my arms around her. Her head was over my heart. She closed her eyes. "I love you." She said.

"I love you, too." I said. I kissed the top of her head. "Why do you always put your head over my heart?"

"I love just hearing your heart beat." She said. I nodded and closed my eyes too. I slowly drifted to sleep with my beautiful girl in my arms.

"Aaron! Aaron! Aaron!" Jaiden woke me up. Fear was evident in her voice. I opened my eyes to see Jaiden freaking out. She was holding a small packet in her hand.

"What?" I mumbled.

"Aaron, did you put a condom on?" She asked.

"You set one out, I remember." I said. She held up the packet.

"This one?" She asked. I sprung up.

"We're screwed..." I figured out. She nodded. She had this look of anxiety, fear, anger, and sadness on her face. She had tears in her eyes.

"Oh no." She chocked. I wrapped my arms around her. "Oh no. Oh no. What am I going to do?" She had tears streaming down her face. "I'm only eighteen. I can't get pregnant... My mom would disown me... Half my family would! The only half I really love! No! No! No!!" She ranted. I wrapped my arms around her shoulders.

"No matter what, I'll always be here for you." I promised. I kissed her head. "I promise that I'll be with you until the end."
