Silence.
Radio silence and it's been days.
After William and his family left, my parents made their anger known. They had to get Lilah to leave the room as they were using some choice words.
Since then, they've been giving me the silent treatment. It's not like I've been speaking to them that much, I know they're pissed and they need their space.
Gyopl has been silent too with no word from William or his parents....it's strange to say the least.
The people of Gyopl won't leave it alone. They'll take it as disrespect and they won't tolerate disrespect. They'll make a show of authority. Their silence leads me to believe they are coming up with a plan.
We don't really know how to counter their plan but Niko and I have been trying to come up with a plan of our own.
I know my parents have been trying to get in contact with Gyopl to renegotiate but they haven't been responding.
I know my parents wouldn't approve of Niko and I sleeping in the same room either but they're currently not speaking to me so I don't think they've realised. Either way, I wouldn't want Niko anywhere but by my side.
"Are you awake?" Niko whispers as he places a kiss upon my cheek.
"Yeah." I confirm. "I'm awake." I say before turning over to see his beautiful face. I love waking up to him every morning and when this is all over, I look forward to getting a house together.
"We should probably get out of bed, shouldn't we?"
I hum in response.
Once we both get ready, we go off in search of Lilah.
"Hi Lilah." I say with a smile. "How are you doing today?"
"I'm ok." She says and I notice Allegra beside her.
"Allegra, what are you doing here?" I ask.
"I was told to watch over Miss Lilah until your parents return."
"Return? Return from where?"
"I'm not meant to say your highness." She states.
Confusion takes over me as I stare at her, calculated.
"I order you to tell me." I say as I know she is going to end up telling me anyway and I'd rather get most of the blame than get her fired.
"They went to Gyopl."
"Oh for fucks sake." I say before realising Lilah is there and I just swore. "Shit." I say but I don't mean to. I cover my mouth with my hand so that I don't say any other swear words.
"Let me guess, they've gone to try and make another deal." Niko says exactly what I'm thinking.
