It all started with a superhero, one who vowed to help save the world and use her powers for good....But how can one keep a promise if they don't remember making it?
What happens when the lines to right and wrong blur? When promises have to be broke...

It's weird when time feels like it's going simultaneously slow and fast.
It feels like I've waited all day, months even, for this moment. Yet at the same time, now that it's here, where did the time go?
There are 6 of us and like 1,000 (if not more) of them. There's suddenly so much that could go wrong. So many things I haven't accounted for.
I suddenly have no faith in myself yet all the faith in the world.
"We get in, take back the hostages and get out. No unnecessary fighting, only people who are in our way." I tell the team. "Remember that there are innocent people in there. Stick to the plan."
We step out the car in our stealthy gear and I look down at my fingerless gloves.
"Do your powers work with those on?" Niko asks, motioning down to my hands.
Good question.
I'm assuming so but it doesn't hurt to test.
I focus my mind and Niko gets pulled towards me.
"I take that as a yes." He says, taken aback. I smile at him in response.
Niko and I start walking away from the car and in the direction of the station. The others watch our backs as we go. They have to wait there for phase 2.
When we get close to the building, the two of us hide behind a bush to scope out the area.
There are some people keeping watch outside. I'm guessing they normally work as government security and they did at the bunkers.
We need to find one away from the group.
Niko taps me lightly with his shoulder and my head snaps in his direction. I follow his line of sight to a man splitting off from the group.
I follow Niko as we venture closer towards him. He continues to get further away from the others, making our jobs a lot easier.
The man, around the corner with his back to us and split off from his fellow guards, stops for a second and reaches into his pocket. Niko doesn't let him take out anything before he pistol-whips him in the back of his head.
The others move in and help us carry the unconscious man back to the car.
We need to be somewhat far away from the others so that if he screams they can't hear it as much. We don't have time to move any further, someone will probably realise that he's gone. This will have to do.
We put him in the backseat and strap him in.
Niko puts his fingers on the sides of the man's head and closes his eyes.
After less than a minute, Niko stops.
"I know where they are." Niko states, getting out of the backseat.
