"A bunch?" The girl's voice was filled with terror. She gasped, her breath catching in her throat, "How..."

Mo Ran scratched the back of her head, her eyes narrowed, trying to process the situation.

It was a lot to explain. Not everyone could accept it so quickly. If she hadn't devoured science fiction novels like they were oxygen, she wouldn't have reacted so quickly either.

Her phone had fallen into the toilet bowl. Asking for help was out of the question. She had to get out, but she couldn't go out the front door.

Besides, if it was like in the zombie movies, going to the classroom would be like walking into a death trap. She could only escape by climbing out the window next to her. Luckily, this was the third floor, not very high.

But she couldn't leave alone. There was another girl in the next cubicle. She had to take her with her, which meant the girl had to come over to her side.

Mo Ran looked up at the height of the partition in the next cubicle. It was about two heads taller than her. If it were her, she could easily climb over it.

After all, she had a very developed athletic ability, and she exercised regularly, so this height was nothing. But these high-achieving students might not be able to do it.

Which one of them in the key class wasn't sitting in the classroom studying all day? They wouldn't even go for a run during PE. You could imagine how poor their physical fitness was.

"Hey, next door, can you climb over the water tank to my side?" Mo Ran whispered to the other side, her voice a mix of urgency and practicality. "I have a plan."

"Ah, ah?" The girl's voice was a little confused. "What plan? How do I get over?"

"Just climb over the water tank like this. I'll pull you up from here." Mo Ran patiently explained, trying to keep her voice calm and reassuring.

The girl was silent for a moment before she stammered, "Okay, um, do you, do you have..."

"Have what?" Mo Ran was impatient, listening to the other girl struggle to finish a sentence.

"Do you have any paper..."

The girl's voice trailed off, her shame audible even through the partition.

Oh, that's what it was.

Mo Ran laughed, a sound that was a little too loud in the tense silence. She passed a pack of tissues under the partition. It was quite embarrassing to encounter this kind of situation in this kind of situation.

"You don't bring toilet paper with you?" she teased, listening to the rustling sounds from the other side.

"I did!" The girl's voice was urgent, as if she wanted to defend herself. "But I was so scared just now, my hand shook, and it fell..."

Mo Ran coldly hummed in response, urging her to hurry up. Who knows what kind of trouble that thing on the other side would cause if they stayed too long? It was better to get out of the bathroom quickly.

The girl hummed twice, then pressed the flush button on the toilet. With a loud "whoosh," the water rushed out.

Was she trying to excite the zombie on the other side by flushing the toilet at this time?

Mo Ran's eyes widened. She wanted to rush over and shake her awake. "What are you doing!"

In her haste, her tone rose, and her voice became extremely harsh.

"Roar!" The zombie on the other side roared instantly, hearing the commotion, and started banging on the door again.

The girl was scared silly by her scolding and the zombie's roar. She stammered even more, her words jumbled.
