You had no interruptions in your sleep. As you slowly opened your eyes, you realized it was morning. The sunlight was literally penetrating the small window across your bed. You've felt an amazing comfort coming over you when you realized that no longer your wounds hurt as much as before. Oddly enough, you felt fine. You thought you were just shocked and the mental pain would slowly kick in soon anyway. The mysterious man from yesterday was sitting by you, his back facing you with his legs crossed, but on the floor.

"Morning" his silky voice filled the room.

"Morning" you said, puzzled. You were surprised that he sensed you were awake. You grunted and pushed away the blankets with your hand.

"Who are you?" you softly asked while you slowly sat up on the bed.

"The man who saved your life" when he spoke, something, both in the substance of what he said and the way he said it, just showed his urge to keep the truth away from you.

"I was driving over 90 miles an hour on a highway... CLIMBING it and I drove off! How did you save me?!" you burst, your voice stronger than before.

"I do not think that you are ready to listen to 'that' story yet, mortal" the man claimed with a faint frown. You snorted and put your feet on the ground, ready to get up. You suddenly realized that your wounds were mostly gone.

"What did this man do to me that I healed so fast and why did he call me mortal?" you wondered. The man slowly got up and moved towards your TV, he slowly sat down on the TV table.

"I do not think that's a good place to s—"

"Silence, human" the man asserted. You quickly became dull, expecting him to continue.

"I am Loki, of Asgard" as these words entered your mind like an axe hewing against a stump, you opened your mouth to talk but the man threw a sharp look at you and continued.

"Do not, interrupt, me." He said looking upon you with almost... hate.

"I know not, nor do I even care what you know of other realms in the universe..." there was just no way you could continue listening to this piece of trash talk more. You knew him, oh you knew him well. Anything human about you suddenly disappeared. You felt firmly frozen in your place for a moment before your fury pushed you like an arrow released from a bow towards Loki.

You punched Loki, in the face, hard. Maybe you shouldn't have dared to do so against a God. Because as you hit his face, he did not move an inch and your eyes locked as you let out a high pitched moan. He looked at you so calmly and watched you hold your hand between your legs.

"You monster! I know very well who you are. The most important person in my life died because of you! You heartless loser! You may very well skip the introductions. What do you want from me?" you could not stop staring at Loki's dainty figure. Your hatred was mixed with a feeling of attraction. You were disgusted by your own mind.

"Today or tomorrow, you're destined for it regardless. Pathetic humans slaughter each other every day! I see it as a gift. I don't regard your precious Earth as the beautiful planet for all mankind to share. You must thank me, for being the catalyst for that death." Loki suggested, staring at your teary eyes with no emotion. You realized that you both were sitting on your knees now which were almost touching. You felt a sudden feeling of disgust and pushed yourself back.

"How's your brother doing?" you asked with a fake smile on your face. You weren't sure if you were trying to get yourself killed. You had no regard for your life that you were too brave with a voracious appetite for danger.

"Ah" Loki smirked. "I'm delighted to deal with a human who seems to have an intelligence level... relatively higher than the others" he said with an impudent tone.

"Your story was all over the news, though no actual footage of you. Excluded brother of Thor comes to Earth trying to be a God among so called insects since he fails in the real world while he calls us... pathetic." You were at it again.

"You don't know anything! You have no idea about me!" his yell overwhelmed your ears. Loki got up from the ground and walked towards your door swiftly.

"You still haven't told me why you are here." you snapped as he was exiting.

"I know" he said and slammed the door on you.

"Oh boy..." you let out a deep sigh.
