The sharp pain in your body was something you never felt in your life before and you certainly hoped that it would be the last time you did. The numb feeling covering your muscles was similar to that of the feeling you'd get if you held ice in your hands for too long. It burned your entire being and you grunted as you tried to push your head to the side and listened to the chaos that sprung around you somehow. You were sure you were about to talk to Heimdall and the next thing you remembered was laying on the ground on top of the thin layer of ice that just happened to be there. Your eyes scanned around you almost too quickly to see that everyone that you've ever interacted ever since Loki saved you was present in the frame of your two eyes. You panted and managed to get on one knee, only to look up to see Odin and his sons standing in front of him with deep expressions you did not understand.

Nothing mattered to you; you saw everyone flying in terror in different directions and all of your friends were fighting against Asgardian soldiers in the distance before you. It was shocking for you that they'd agree to defend you somehow and you thought maybe it was Steve's work. You got up and wanted to directly run to Loki and just take him away but yet you realized it wouldn't be that easy since Odin raised Gungnir before you and pushed you away with magic for you not to reach him. You looked up to the Asgardian brothers with sadness from the ground that you met again.

"Father, you must listen to me! ____(y/n) claims that Loki..." Thor's burning voice was interrupted with his father's small growl, the thunder God shifted Mjolnir in his hands as if he was letting him know that he wouldn't back away so easily.

"I know what she claims, I also know what Skadi claims and I've made my final decision. So will you step away and 'not' betray your father once again?" the weary king said, your eyes met with Loki's and he looked at you with a deep frown and looked around himself—seeming like he wondered of a way for you two to come in contact together.

"Did Skadi manage to fool you too, my prince?" you heard a silky voice and everyone was distracted. It was lady Eir approaching where all of you stood with her white floating dress, for a moment you saw Tony in his suit just scaring many soldiers away. You wondered if any of them were going to step into your circle.

"Perhaps she did, just as the way you've done to my father" Thor said with a sarcastic and frozen voice, glaring at Eir with a frown.

"No quarrel among you will change the fate that's been sealed for Asgard. The next dawn of this realm will be its last if you do not let me go to her. She requires assistance to wield magic. I am aware that no word I utter shall change the way any of you perceive me, nor do I even need you to see me any different. Yet if you do not let me unite with the mortal, none of you will live to see the next day" Loki's velvet voice was a hymn to your ears, you longed for it for so long. The pain that captured you seemed to loosen up a little.

"Shall we believe your lies and let you take her to Thanos? I am afraid I will not be a fool again to misjudge your words, Laufeyson" Odin's deep voice echoed.

Lady Eir silently was going towards you, your eyes landed on Loki's then Thor's and they widened since Eir's expression was nothing close to the way she cared for you before. You knew she had some problem with Freyja and perhaps knowing you were allied with Skadi put you in the opposing sides. You took an awkward step backwards feeling that Loki's left hand was rising and pointing at Eir's moving figure without a word. Yet before anyone could make a move, you felt something flying right by your head and hit Eir's left shoulder—making her almost twirl around herself and as she turned you caught the glimpse of an arrow that tore through her dress. It placed a weird smile on her face as her eyes landed on Clint who was quite far away with your friends.

Everything you knew melted together after that moment. Perhaps it was only a split second where everything and everyone clashed together shamelessly, you were the center of it all—your shocked eyes barely seeing it all crumble.
