"What's going on? Cap?!"

..............................................

"Lay her down, lay her down!"

"She's not waking up Mr. Stark!"

*crash*

"Hold her steady!"

"She said it's about Loki"

"I need to do some tests, Rogers. Keep her company while I gather supplies from the first floor."

You gently moaned and tried to open your heavy eyelids. They were heavier than anything you'd ever try to lift but you managed somehow. Your eyes were curtained by a blue tint, no matter how hard you blinked to fix them like you'd do when you'd get out of a pool—it just didn't work. Your eyes burned as well as your arms. But you were grateful to realize that your arm felt like it was back in its place and its pain was reduced to sharp tingles. You lowered your eyes to see that you were hooked up to an IV on a hospital bench but you were inside the Stark tower. You were sure of it as you saw a dark haired man passing by with medical supplies in his hand, the blue circular object on his chest easily gave away his identity. You sighed in relief as you spotted him. He was completely in black like you were dressed. The circle of light was peeking at you from afar. You'd seen him before since your dad worked in his company, a genius mechanic Mr. Stark was. You always looked up to him, well—as far as his prodigy but not his life style in particular. He came close to you with a smile on his face; his signature beard style caught your eyes immediately.

"How are you holding up, honey?" he asked as he carefully switched some wires that were attached to your arm.

You couldn't find your ability to talk and just smiled. You looked around you to see that you were in the middle of an open workplace; you were surrounded by opaque glowing screens that hardly bothered your irises. You located a bar on the back decorated with many kinds of beverages you did not recognize. You turned your head to stare into the pitch black sky through the left side that was only made out of glass.

"You know, you're a very lucky girl" Mr. Stark murmured as he started drawing blood from your left arm steadily.

"I don't know what exactly is happening to you, but whatever it is, is not killing you" he conveniently capped your blood sample and applied pressure to your arm.

You heard the doors of the elevator on your right side opening; it was Steve Rogers lashing into the room with many supplies that covered his whole torso and face.

"I hope these will be enough. I wish you knew what you needed when you went down there the first time, Mr. Stark" he grunted as he placed them on the counter across you. He came close to you with worry on his face that you recognized from the last time you saw him.

"____(y/n), how are you doing?" he gave you a warm smile and glanced over Mr. Stark's hands that carried your blood samples.

"When did you become a nurse?" he asked slowly.

"Tonight. However, I've been working on some techniques to place sensors on my arms to be able to call on my suit parts" he pulled up his sleeves to reveal three dark spots on each of his arms. He ran over to where all the electronics and his computers were at. Steve gave him an amazed look and turned to you again. You were still in a state of trance with the stream of unknown chemicals flowing through your body.

"J.A.R.V.I.S, I need you to run several tests on this sample. Tell me about every single malign chemical flowing in here" Mr. Stark talked into the air and sipped on a drink from a black cup that had a huge Stark Industries logo on it.

"Yes, sir. Approximate time of completion: one hour" you heard a slightly robotic yet a gentle voice; you recognized it from last year's Expo event you attended with your father. Mr. Stark did a stunning presentation of his new technology that enabled his suits to catch missiles mid-air.

Mr. Stark came by you and sat next to Steve, they gave each other stares of uncertainty. Your thoughts were blocked and you had no ability to think about anything complex in your mind, you stared at the two beautiful men with a blank expression.

"We should inform Nick Fury, Stark" Steve said with a somber expression as he stared at you. Mr. Stark let out a big sigh and his right hand went to his neck.

"Why do you always come up with the worst ideas, Cap?" he said with exasperation.

"She said it's about Loki, what else are we supposed to do?" he disagreed.

"It may be about him but look at her! She's something else entirely. Who we really need to inform right now is Dr. Banner" he said as he took out a phone that only consisted of its glass parts and dialed numbers. After a couple seconds of awkward silence, Dr. Banner picked up.

"Dr. Banner! Hey, it's Tony! Yes, I know it's late but would you drop by the Stark tower?" you stared at Tony's figure that shot up from his seat with excitement as a muffled voice replied.

"You see, there's an alien girl with me that's glowing blue and it's kind of urgent. This is about Loki" his voice became very serious when he said Loki's name. The muffled voice gave a brief reply and Mr. Stark put his phone back in his pocket. He walked over to sit back by you.

"He's coming" he told Steve and he nodded at him.

"Mr. Stark..." your voice cracked and you awkwardly coughed. Both men became uneasy and alert in their places, their full attention was on you.

"Just call me Tony"

"Tony, I'm not an alien... Loki had been staying with me for a couple weeks. He saved me from death and told me that I could be a special being." You said at once, finally finding the power to push yourself up to sit. Both men stared at you clueless.

"He has the scepter... this happened to me when I touched it" you rubbed your eyes wishing you could see normal again.

"The scepter?" Steve said, his face became pale and discolored and he added:

"We might not even have to inform Fury" he said and sighed. Tony was still and calculating the situation in his head, or he at least seemed that way to you.

"Let's hope Banner makes it here before they do" he said with worry as he gazed over your blood sample.
