You've seen how much Loki cared with the way he stared at you after the moment you released him from his misery, even though you already made a mental note to yourself about how indifferent he seemed after Thor's words and your confession. It was a sting to your soul, yet another knife in your heart that you couldn't recognize after so many daggers were thrust through it. Was it simply his shock after what's happened to him or was he actually disappointed in you for some reason? You landed on the familiar entrance where you breathed in fresh air just a little while ago. You almost twirled around yourself with the way you landed. You couldn't balance yourself because your feelings were pulling your strings around too much. You breathed out deeply and turned around and once more felt like twirling. You jumped back seeing the golden figure of Heimdall and remembered Thor's remark about him not leaving his spot on the Bifrost other than threatening situations. You gave him an unkind look you really didn't mean in your heart, you felt defensive towards everyone and everything after seeing Loki's true face.

"You must have seen what's happened, I... I really" you said grabbing your own arms with the chilly air hitting you. The all-seer moved slightly on his spot and finally turned his gaze upon your eyes full of purpose.

"I have seen you in Loki's chambers. I am here to warn you. If you carry out what you wish, I may have to kill you the next time I see you. Our king is aware of your actions and wishes to speak with you at once" Heimdall's stuffed voice entered your ears and did not quite register as it faded.

You pushed away a strand of your hair with an eyebrow raised, you were calculating nonstop—a plot inside a plot, the perfect vice, thinking about your next move as if it all was a chess game to save Loki who you knew you would eventually prove the innocence of, as innocent as the God of Lies could be. You just weren't sure how to repay for all that he's done, it was a reality you had to run away from until about your task was done and he was safe. There had to be a way to quite his actions because you were sure there was a way to solve this unlike Thor told you. You sighed loudly wondering what happened after you left the two brothers and hoped they didn't do anything stupid to hurt each other in any way. You wouldn't want either to be hurt and your heart kept crying in desperation with wishes that somehow they could be brothers again.

"I will go to see him at once but I need to change my clothes first you see? I'm still wearing Midgardian stuff and I also want to see my friends before that. I will be there very soon unless it's that urgent?" you proposed with a fake a smile knowing you needed more time to figure out a way to save Loki. Heimdall's indifferent look didn't seem to help you at all; he turned his face to the side like he was talking to someone in his head and turned back again.

"You must be there before dawn" he said and slowly started to walk away, his armor shaking the ground he walked on.

You turned your back and started to walk in the opposite direction lightly thinking about what he said, you could already hear some heavy laughter at the end of the corridor where you assumed your unaware friends were probably waiting for you and Thor. But something made you stop abruptly, a bitter pain covered your arms and you could see the lines on them slightly glowing. A strange feeling covered your heart with a reason you didn't understand and you looked around wondering why this happened. Perhaps it was Skadi's work but what was she trying to say? You started to walk once more looking down at your hands for a couple seconds and stopped completely this time. Your eyes seemed like they were opened permanently with adrenaline.

"Before dawn..." you murmured to yourself. You turned back to see that Heimdall was already disappeared on the long path outside. You were to go there before dawn to seek audience with Odin who would potentially do anything in his power to stop you from saving Loki. Your eyes filled with tears but a mischievous smile also appeared on your face because you were ahead of them now. Loki told you he would be executed tomorrow which more than likely meant with sunrise.
