You let go of Tony and turned to face lady Eir's worried complexion. She put away the empty bowl and slowly walked back to where you were sitting with the lucky man next to you; she took a seat in front of you and started to wrap her hand that she had to cut again to save mortal lives. She gave a graceful smile to both of you and Tony seemed very uncomfortable returning her curious gaze.
"Did Freyja try to enforce the idea that Skadi was innocent to you as well, lady ____(y/n)?" she said with a dull face and continued to wrap her hand.
"How did you know that? And she really seemed sure that her mother was innocent, I heard that she sent you here for some reason too" you told her with a frown and adjusted the awkward straps going around you that bothered your shoulders.
"Yes, she did for I disagreed with her opinion. She's blinded to see the truth, the truth that our father has fallen by Skadi's hand, her own weapon—which is behind your back" Eir said with a dark tone. Tony's confused eyes scanned the golden bow and he let out a deep sigh.
"So there's this Asgardian drama that I am not familiar with where you have the soul of some bored chick who murdered her dad and..." Tony said pointing at you; he seemed to be trying very hard to understand the situation with the little information he had, yet the lack of information even got the best of a genius like him.
"I will explain everything later when we meet up with the Avengers again. It's a very long story Tony" you told him and he nodded with his mouth open, he still didn't seem like he was paying much attention to you.
"You shall be on your way; I already got the news from Heimdall that your friends sought audience with our King. Our prince awaits your arrival by your chambers to instruct you further" Eir said, your eyes lingered on the bouquet of flowers of grace resting by the bowl that you were sure that was excess for the solution.
"Lady Eir, would you mind if I take some of those flowers with me? I really love the smell of them" you lied to her because your intention to take them was much different. She bowed her head in approval and got up on her feet. You followed her and took a hold of the delicate herbs, you couldn't help but tears formed in your eyes with remembrance of Loki who you assumed to be caged up once more. A sharp twist took over your tummy since you weren't sure what was going to be done to him now that he was brought back to Asgard under the care of a very angry father—step father.
"Will you need horses to ride back, m'lady?" Eir curiously asked.
"No we will be just fine, thank you very much" Tony said giving Eir such a fake smile that his face looked like it was in pain before he pushed the silver doors to reunite with his suit. You bowed before Eir and followed Tony outside without a word. You saw that Tony was back in his suit and he let out a very relieved sigh.
"Thank God that's over, what a boring woman!" Tony exclaimed. You rolled your eyes and came closer to him but before you could say anything the calm voice of J.A.R.V.I.S. interrupted you.
"Sir, are you aware of a change in the way you are feeling?" it asked with something that you never felt in its voice before and that was worry.
"No, not really. What's up honey?" Tony asked and put his hands on his metallic hips.
"Sir, the arc reactor..."
"Can you just tell me what's going on without making it all dramatic?" Tony said and blew a raspberry. You were very stiff in your place thinking that there was something bad going on with his health already.
"The arc reactor's capacity has increased by two hundred percent, the power capacity of the suit has increased with an immeasurable exponent, allowing to power up your suit for a time period of: infinity" J.A.R.V.I.S. said and Tony's jaw dropped.
