You slowly landed on a sturdy flat area, it almost reminded you of the desert Thanos summoned you but this certain landscape was way curvier in comparison. Your eyes scanned over the vast area of mountains sided like they were giving each other tight hugs; some of their peaks were so high in the air and were covered in snow while some of them couldn't even be seen under the golden shade of clouds. You blinked a couple times to adjust to the excessive brightness around you, the sky was almost white. Being used to waking up to a blue sky all your life, you stared at Thor's shining figure under the blanket of light.

"What is this place?" you murmured and slowly put your backpack on the dusty ground, it immediately caught dust on it. Thor sighed, standing next to you to take a look at the surroundings.

"This is Vanaheim, the closest realm to Asgard there is. We have to be really careful, this place is full of creatures we surely don't want our ways to cross" he said and looked into the distance, covering his eyes with his right hand.

"Why couldn't Heimdall just make us teleport into Freyja's castle?" you said, tightening the leather straps around you to help up your poor shoulders being crushed under Skadi's legendary huntress arsenal.

"Ever since her parents died, she's been distant from the realms of Valhalla. She sent Eir to Asgard herself, I think she prefers to be alone which is why the entire castle and its surroundings are protected by an impenetrable spell" he said as he spotted her castle far away among the mountains, it was a small dot.

"I see, can't we just fly there?" you approached Thor with your galled face.

"I don't wish to intimidate you but this barren area is the home of fire dragons and of knavish bandits. If we fly, we will be chased" he faced you with grief.

"I interpret that as we have to walk our way across, which is why your father needed me to be trained" you sighed and heard a distant roar, you advanced right next to Thor thinking it was a dragon.

"Yes, I must get rid of this cape. We will be walking long distances and I think it will bother me" Thor said, dropping Mjolnir and reaching out to his back to unbutton his cape. You helped him take it off and held on to it. You smirked and put it on your back, making your face grumpy.

"I, the mighty Thor, will fry all those dragons and have supper with their meat!" you said with joy, trying your best to imitate his manly voice and distinct accent. He laughed and buried his face in his hands, he was blushing and that made his eyes seem bluer than ever.

"I'm happy that you can keep your spirits high knowing we will be suffering walking for a long time" he said and took a couple steps forward. You folded his cape and put it in your backpack which had more than enough room for it.

"I actually have an idea Thor..." you said, staring at him sweetly like you were about to confess something bad you did. His face became dull and stared at your playful face.

"I can teleport us there, unless Freyja's spell includes me in the list" you forcefully giggled. Thor's eyes opened wide, you weren't sure if that was because how bright the idea was or how insane he possibly thought it to be. You smiled awkwardly.

"____(y/n), that is madness! Have you ever teleported anyone with you? That's different than doing it yourself. What if you teleport us into empty space? What if you teleport us next to Thanos?" he protested loudly. Ever since Odin's revelation to you and the practice you had with accepting Skadi, your heart told you that you could do this. Your eyes were fixed upon the dot in the distance.

"Thor!" you shouted and stood right in front of him with a frown, you were breathing heavily and your sudden reaction stopped him from going on with his rant. He was surprised by your reaction; he didn't expect you to be this persuasive.

"When you gave me your word on the Stark tower, I had no reason to trust you. You know this and I did put my faith in you. Would it be so much to ask for the same thing in return?" you said while looking over his shoulder into the mountains. You put your hand on his right arm. Thor declined his head upon yours, slowly bumping his into yours with a smile. After a brief second in that position, he sighed and turned his gaze upon the castle.

"I hope you are right. If we make it there, our sudden appearances might anger them so I need you to be on your guard. They won't be friendly until they know who we are. I will protect you but have the courage to protect yourself" Thor said and put his hands on your waist with worry. You nodded.

You let out a long sigh in an attempt to relax your body; you adjusted the straps around you and pulled up your sleeves to be able to see your arms. Your Jotun skin seemed calm and graceful but this was a good time to get angry. You looked into Thor's eyes briefly before you closed them, focusing all your being into that one single moment when Loki walked towards you with no emotion. Your frantic breathing made Thor uneasy on his spot, he held onto you tightly. You peeked to see that your arms were rhythmically glowing; a dozen streams of blue lights surrounded you both. You tried your best to keep your gaze upon the castle and everything went black around for a split second before you landed on a wide porch with a loud thud. You looked up into the sky to see the annoying brightness and sighed in relief knowing you were still at least in Vanaheim territory.

You grunted on the ground and got up on one knee to see that there were half naked women in some sort of war paint charging towards you. You felt an instant rush of wind and a revolving sound coming from your back. You briefly turned back to see that it was Thor swinging Mjolnir with unbelievable speed, the winds causing the army of women not to be able to approach you anymore. You barely walked back towards Thor and gave your back to him and pulled out your golden bow—taking aim on a random Valkyrie in fear.

"Enough!" a female voice echoed all around you and the Valkyrie women retreated in an instant, the wooden doors behind you opened as Thor stopped his storm that'd been washing away everything around you. You turned to face a female warrior, who you assumed to be Freyja.

The warrior had a dull tone of red hair that reminded you of Eir's hair although hers was way brighter and lighter color, her eyes were ice blue and completely different from Eir's honey gold ones. You realized that the lady was wearing a dark brown and long dress; she walked slowly towards you with a spear and a circle shield in her hands. The grey fur around her shoulders was very extravagant, she seemed like a huntress and you decided that this was very natural since she was Skadi's daughter after all. Freyja's cherry red lips curved into a smile as she stood before you and Thor.

"Pardon the tempest, my friends. I was not expecting your arrival so soon and in such manner" she said and smiled though it was obvious that she wasn't pleased with the way you two barged into her well protected castle.

"Forgive us, Queen Freyja. We did not mean to disturb your premises but time is essential and short" Thor said, lowering Mjolnir down and bowing before the queen.

"I am aware, if not for the reason behind your arrival I'd proclaim your entrance as overstepping your welcome in these lands" she looked around, gazing over her warriors' eyes and her stare landing on the bow on your back.

"But no fret, I know your purpose for such act, let us proceed inside" she said, giving her spear and shield to a maiden next to her. All the warriors lowered their weapons afterwards, following you into Freyja's dull throne room, lit up with very few candles on the walls.

"She seems bothered and sensitive, please watch your words with her" Thor whispered as Freyja took her seat on her throne.
