The golden double doors opened and Heimdall's soothed figure gracefully walked into the spacious throne room. The only thing that could be heard was his golden armor's tingling, he approached you and Thor. Thor got up on his feet and extended his hand to you for you to do the same. You complied without question and stared at the faces of the three Asgardian men. Odin took a step to come closer to you and gave out his hand to you.

"My child, would you trust me to see everything you'd been through?" Odin bitterly grinned. You frowned in confusion and looked around; the expressions on everyone's faces were incalculable.

"What does that mean, my king?" you muttered with worry, not giving your hand to him just yet.

"Heimdall is gifted with vision. If you let him, I can see everything that happened to you ever since you met Loki" he remarked.

You couldn't' decide if this was such a good idea since if all your memories were revealed to him, he would know that you love Loki and see all that you did with him. You knew if you said no, it would cause problems. You stared at Thor; he nodded at you to go on. You gulped and gave out your hand to the weary king. Heimdall's stare was completely fixed on yours, it was almost electrifying and you could feel him lingering inside your head. You had a series of flashbacks as you tried your best not to break your eye contact with him. Everything ran through your mind in a flash up until the moment you reached this room, you were pretty sure all of this was also going through in Odin's mind. You let go of his hand and turned completely red since there was no privacy between you two anymore, he just knew everything. You saw that he let out a big sudden sigh and turned to face his queen.

"Frigga, would you please leave us alone and tell the guards to keep us locked here until I order otherwise?" he said, without any protest she nodded and headed outside. It was only you four standing together in the middle of the throne room.

"Things are far more complicated than I needed them to be it seems" Odin said and took a couple steps away from you while turning his back. Thor gave you a concerned look.

"Everything I utter here will stay in this room. If any of you slip anything, I will know and I will immediately banish you from Asgard, do you understand? I alone will be the judge of who else will be revealed what I say" he said firmly. He wasn't playing around; you became uneasy and gave him a brief reply of approval. He turned to face you.

"____(y/n), when you met Thanos he told you that you were a reincarnation. This is true" you gulped and moved closer to Thor in case whatever you were going to hear was too much for you. Thor offered you his arm with worry.

"Once upon a time, a Jotun princess lived in Asgard. She was known in all realms as the 'winter huntress'. Her ability to shape shift, control ice and posses incredible speed was unmatched. Her name was Skadi." He said and looked down.

"Father..." Thor said, like he wanted him to stop saying more. Odin raised his hand and silenced him.

"I knew her father, I knew him well. He was a good friend. However, in time, he forced his daughter to marry the god of the seas, Njord. Skadi never wanted to marry him but she had no choice" he went on; you saw that Heimdall was frozen in his place with his eyes glued on Odin.

"She killed her father, ____(y/n)" he said and looked into your eyes. You remained silent with your eyes open wide, not knowing where this was leading.

"Njord was not innocent either. He forced Skadi to live with him by the seas which I believe caused her act to kill her father. She blamed him for her tormented life" Thor held onto your arm, like he knew some truth was about to strike you.

"The elder gods gathered, wanting to decide their punishment. They wanted to end both their lives. But I knew that in her heart, Skadi was suffering and acted in such manner out of frenzy. So I made a different call. Instead of relieving her from her pain, I wanted her to keep suffering for her mistake" you were completely startled by how violent Odin sounded. For a moment, you felt so alone inside the room.

"They were separated from their bodies like Thanos said; I cast her out to the mortal world. Your lover who died possessed Njord's soul. It was her eternal punishment to be betrayed over and over again in different bodies for her own treachery." You knew what this meant, your eyes filled with tears.

"I am Skadi" you muttered.

"No, you are not, but she's a big part of you. Her soul reincarnated and ended up in one body I didn't expect it to end up. You, ____(y/n), carry the fairest heart in the realm of Midgard. You were destined to be the special being Loki told you about. I'm afraid Skadi's soul chose you for a reason" he said, you knew why he gave an eye for wisdom.

"The tesseract can only be wielded by Gods or Jotuns as lady Eir told you. With Skadi's soul in you you can wield its power, if you accept her in your heart. I don't expect you to accept a murderer's presence within so easily, but if you embrace her power you can stop this to act as poison" Odin said and pointed at your bluish arms.

"It is simply Jotun skin, if you accept her, you will live" he said and let out another big sigh.

"Loki lied to you my child, like he lied to his family and his kingdom, bringing disgrace upon these lands. The soul you want to save belongs to Njord. I'm afraid no single soul was released from Hel after its arrival there. Besides, it would be the last thing Skadi wants. It would anger her greatly" you stared at him in awe; you just had no idea what was going on. Everything was falling in place, you held onto Thor's arm tightly.

"So Skadi is trying to redeem herself and her name by helping me stop Ragnarok?" you asked.

"That is a possibility, a very optimistic one too. Let us hope that is what she's doing" Odin said and headed back to his throne. He slowly sat down and his attention turned to Thor.

"Thor, Thanos is meeting up with Surtur. I want you to be ready for anything. Heimdall" his eyes now turned to the golden soldier.

"Bifrost will be closed until such time I order otherwise. There's only one instance I will allow it and that is sending her to Vanaheim. My son, I want you to take ____(y/n) to meet Freyja. It is her right to meet with her; she's gifted with vision to see into the future. I want you to go and see if you can figure out Thanos' next move" Odin said and you turned to Thor.

"Who is Freyja and where the hell is Vanaheim?" you silently shrieked. He ignored your question.

"Father, ____(y/n) is not ready to travel such far distances. If anything happens on our journey, she won't be able to defend herself" Thor asserted.

"I want you to personally start training her, get help from the warriors three. This will be your priority. Heimdall, send the news to Vanaheim. Freyja will be most pleased" Heimdall nodded and walked out of the room.

"Start training, child. Embrace Skadi's abilities and you may have a chance to save the universe. Thanos and Loki are trying to start Ragnarok, not stop it. If you gain enough power, you can wield the tesseract. Now go, start immediately" he said and hit the ground with his spear.

The doors of the throne room unlocked. Your mind was extremely crowded trying to process these things you heard. You stared blankly at Odin; Thor slowly pulled you with him to go outside. You stumbled lost in thought of what was happening.
