His hands were shaky.

As if his godly porcelain body was not of his kind, for a moment it felt like he was a timid human boy you had a crush on for so long that you finally managed to open up to each other and this was your first hug. His big yet weak hands were still around you and you could feel the pleasant icy feeling down your spine—how you yearned for his touch was unexplainable; you came back to your senses when his hands brushed and fell from your shoulder. You pulled yourself and looked into his eyes and your heart started to race because it'd been too long since you saw them, "his" emerald eyes. The worry in them was yet another dagger in your heart and it made your eyebrows curl just like his beautifully ordered ones. Loki's thin lips parted gently and you knew he was going to tell you something but you stopped him with your erratic whisper.

"I will save you, don't say anything. I will save you..." you squeezed his arms tightly before you let go of them, you pulled yourself together and got up on your feet as Loki stood on the ground. It was apparent that it wasn't by choice.

"____(y/n), get out of there before he does anything to hurt you!" Thor shouted with his deep and demanding voice in which you caught an ounce of disappointment. Before you could answer him after facing him, he started an argument very strong.

"Do you realize the danger you've put the universe in!? Get out of there this instant! He's a talented liar and he's trying to manipulate you. Don't you fall for his tricks and games!" Thor added with anger, you realized that he had Mjolnir in his left hand and he seemed ready to smash into the cell, he had no tolerance and surely his sensible, good humored and lively self was nowhere to be found.

"You don't know anything! Loki was good; I just healed him from the control of the infinity gem that was stolen from Earth. Thanos was behind all of this, he wanted to trap me with the gem of time. Loki never wanted to serve him, Thor! Your brother is innocent, you have to listen—"

"ENOUGH!" Thor's gallant voice boomed and he gathered his strength to hit the glass, with his thunderous swing the glass cracked in countless places but stood together.

"Don't even talk about tricks and games to me! I know what Odin was planning to do; he wanted to make me a princess just so I would be a subject to him! And... and it means I have to marry you! You knew that but kept it secret, didn't you?" you shouted and took a step back thinking Thor would probably shatter the entire room this time. You looked back to Loki who didn't seem as threatened as you, but the calculating face of his was enough to make you worry more.

"I exactly knew what that meant! I was to come back for you after I departed because all of our friends were putting together a feast for you! I was to ask your hand in marriage! Because...!" Thor's fierce voice was now in complete agony, you could see the glittering tears in his eyes, and your heart was no longer beating as you met Loki's hardened face and overt frown thrown in your direction.

"I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU!!!" and the glass cell was broken into million pieces at the same time as your heart was, you almost stumbled back to where Loki was sitting, your eyes were open wide as you sat down awkwardly by him with your eyes searching around for some solution that would never come. Thor slowly walked inside the cell with his messy hair and his breathing echoed around you, he sounded like an angry bull.

Loki, who already seemed to have started recovering from the gravity of what he just heard, slowly pulled his head up and looked into Thor's eyes with much hate that you recognized it from the time he walked away from you out in the garden. You remembered the violent way he pushed away your hand soothing him because he hated Thor more than anything. Your senses became alert and you pushed yourself back up involuntarily in case they would hurt each other.
