Once more did the purple lights sweep you off your feet into the opaque air. As uncomfortable as traveling with the speed of light was, somehow knowing Loki was with you made you even stiffer against Thor's big chest. Thor's huge and muscular arms were around you so tightly as if he believed Loki would do something unexpected to take you away from him. In the blink of an eye, all the realities in your life clashed with beautiful colors before you because everything and everyone that started to matter to you in the last couple weeks came together before you in a single picture. It was, with its all might and glory, the city of the Gods Asgard. And your curious human friends were completely taken away by the strange sights as their eyes scanned over the contours of the golden city.

"Welcome to Asgard, dear Midgardians" Heimdall said with his monotonous thick voice, somehow this time he reminded you of J.A.R.V.I.S. a little bit. But in addition, the gate keeper's voice was coated with reverence towards your friends.

"I forgot to leave a note for Pepper" Tony said and his helmet popped open to reveal a familiar and shocked face you remembered from after the battle on Earth was over. Steve let out a chuckle and quickly glanced over him.

"Maybe it won't matter if the universe gets destroyed Tony" Bruce said with an indifferent voice while his eyes were on the Bifrost.

After Bruce took a couple steps out on the bridge, your friends found the courage to do so and followed him. You gazed at Loki for a moment to see that he was secretly watching you with his eyes that you felt guilty for admiring anymore. You just couldn't put all the pieces together in your head, how could he do this to you? You knew things were going to get very complicated today after you were to meet Odin, you turned your face away from him as if you reconciled to your fate—that it was impossible for you two to be together after all that happened. You walked towards Steve who felt like the safest person to be around lately, he seemed like he couldn't contain himself with his jaw dropped. You smirked and elbowed him.

"I couldn't even get use to how the world is and now I am in a different one. Things just got stranger than they already were" he sighed and his oceanic blue eyes landed on your glowing ones. Before you could reply however, he playfully elbowed you back and chuckled.

"So, you and Thor huh? You know there wouldn't be a better man" Steve said under his breath, from the corner of your eye you could see Loki's eyes becoming narrow. You let out a forced chuckle and looked down in a manner like you approved of it knowing he was eyeing you; maybe he deserved to see that you would be just fine without him even though you were mentally dying each day without his smile.

"Do you have any idea how much information we could get about traveling between galaxies just by being here?" Bruce told his science brother Tony with excitement.

"Doctor, we would be super rich! Oh wait, we already are super rich—at least I am—and I am the only name in the industry already. But hey, just for the sake of research!" Tony playfully said and his suit was reflecting the ever-changing colors of the rainbow bridge.

Your eyes landed on Clint and Natasha who were standing even closer to each other with the unfamiliar surroundings. You looked back to Heimdall to see that his eyes were pointed at a certain point in the city again and you guessed there'd be people coming to pick you all up soon, just like the first time you came to Asgard. You saw that Thor didn't leave his brother's side even though he seemed very disgusted; the two brothers had no contact with each other at all. You wanted to go next to him to talk but Loki's presence was constantly making you dizzy anyway so you decided to remain with Steve. After a very brief period of time, you saw an army of horses sprinting on the bridge towards you. You recalled that last time there were only two people coming to greet you but now it was a relatively big army marching in your direction. It took you a second to process the familiar faces approaching the dome. You caught the bright blonde hair of Fandral and the rest of the warriors three riding their horses with joy following him. There was also a group of heavily armored soldiers following them who you guessed to be there because of Loki. All the Avengers were staring at them in awe and confusion. You took a couple steps ahead of Steve with a big smile on your face to see your Asgardian friends.

"Oh heavens, look Volstagg! It's mortals! It's been, how long...?" Fandral said as he stopped his horse before you.

"You're forgetting the time we went to find Thor, it's not that long! Welcome to Asgard my dear mortal friends!" Volstagg said from his beautiful white horse. Your friends awkwardly remained silent with the shock of seeing them in their catchy armors. You saw that lady Sif got off of her horse and walked towards you, her lifeless eyes landed on Loki and she instantly seemed furious.

"Thank you lady ___(y/n), for bringing the war criminal back to Asgard" she said. She made a gesture to the soldiers behind so they'd take a hold of the God of Mischief who seemed to be buried behind the group with Thor silent next to him.

"We've heard of your success on Earth, lady ____(y/n). You're a worthy warrior" you heard Hogun's familiar cold voice as Loki was being pushed to walk before the army of soldiers towards Asgard. Thor came next to you with a disappointed face and put his hand over your shoulder. Loki silently passed the big crowd without looking at anyone's face, he smirked and came to an abrupt stop after he passed by Tony.

"I hope you enjoyed your last drink" Loki said with his voice unusually happy and kept continuing walking away, he didn't look back even for once afterwards. His odd remark sent everyone into an attempt to hopelessly analyze what he meant. But there was only a few of you that could understand what he really said or maybe it was just you alone. Your eyes were popped open and locked with Bruce's chocolate ones that didn't seem any different than yours in their surprise. You remembered his words from the Stark tower when you first came in sick there.

"This is electromagnetic, this... this is not a single element it's a compound of light and an energy source. The radioactive material should have already denaturalized your cells."

Your blood did have the power of Valkyrie and its healing abilities, but you forgot the small detail that it also had the essence of the scepter mixed with it.
