While Ruby, Yang, Weiss, and Blake were inside the palace dodging all the traps to find the metal door that led to the hidden cave. Meanwhile the other girls were having their battle outside.

Neo, Sun, Emerald, and Penny were catching their breath after holding Guardian down at their position during the longest time since they were the first to initiate the fight before the others.

Guardian: Is that all you got? If so, then surrender now.

Emerald: Sorry, surrendering isn't in our dictionary. Or are you just scared that you're gonna lose to girls.

Guardian: (gets annoyed) What?

Emerald: You heard what I said. You're scared to lose to us girls.

Guardian then unleashed his aura after hearing that. The girls were surprised by this since they thought it was pretty childish of him for getting triggered after hearing Emerald say that.

Sun: (taps on Emerald's shoulder) Yeah, you really pissed him off.

Emerald: I didn't think he would get mad.

Guardian dashed at Emerald but Sun quickly stepped in and caught his fist. She then twisted Guardian's arm and she kicked him on the side of his ribs as he flew into a building.

Emerald: See, my plan worked.

Penny: Was that a plan? (Neo shrugs)

Guardian walked out of the building and he cracked his neck and he looked at them. He held his sword but there was a flash of light surrounding the blade. He swung his sword and there was a bright slash heading towards them and they quickly jumped in the air as they saw the bright slash destroy the building behind them.

Sun: Holy crap!

Guardian suddenly appeared next to Neo and he kicked her on the ribs but she suddenly shattered into glass pieces. But she was standing on his shoulders as he looked at her and she just smiled at him.

Neo suddenly grabbed Guardian's head and dropped as she flipped him over her head and slammed his body onto the ground. Penny came and stabbed her sword into Guardian's leg as he screamed in pain but it didn't hold him down.

Guardian kicked Penny away from him as the sword came out of his leg. He quickly got up as he used his strength to grab Neo by the neck and he started choking her but he saw Emerald running right at him and he threw Neo at her with so mugh velocity and they collided into each other.

Sun was able to disarm Guardian's sword and she threw it far into the distance. Guardian also disarmed Sun and she lost her sword. Guardian threw a punch but Sun blocked it. Guardian sensed Penny behind him and he quickly jumped over Penny to land behind her after she quickly stopped herself from killing Sun with her sword.

Guardian quickly ran up to Penny and took the sword out of her hand and he palm pushed her with force as she flew at Sun which made Penny take down Sun to the ground. Guardian appeared in front of Penny and Sun as he was about to stab Penny. Emerald quickly created an illusion to distract Guardian in which it worked as it showed the girls surrounding him.

Neo was able to stab her sword through Guardian's chest and he puked out blood as he dropped Penny's sword to the ground. Guardian knelt down and he looked at the girls with a smile on his face and his body vanished from their sight.

Pyrrha, Nora, Rin, and Oscar were fighting against Kai in the second section of the village. Kai was able to sense Guardian's life force had disappeared and he grew angry.
