Going, Going, Gone

Alex's pov
I go and sit down on Colton's bed and Toby moves the chair in Colton's room and puts it across from me and sits down "what happened?" he asks just like I knew he would. I tell him everything that happened and include that buddy is from my mom and the first thing she ever gave to me even if I don't remember it since I was only a few days old. He looked at my hand once I told him how it felt like Dylan was cutting off my circulation, my hand is still red and stings a little but it isn't as red as it was before. I don't think I have ever seen Toby look so mad, but I would say he is about ready to kill Blake and Dylan which honestly, I don't even know if I would stop him if he tried to at this point. Although I know deep down and once I calm down I would probably still stop him even though I shouldn't, "what are you going to do?" Toby asks "i'm leaving" I say "are you sure that's what you want to do? I'm not going to stop you and I support you but I want you to think about what you're doing before you do it" Toby says. I know he won't stop me but once I explain he will get why that's the choice I am making, "yes i'm sure it's what I want to do. My mom was in an abusive relationship and did everything she could to get me out of it. And even though Blake and Dylan aren't abusing me they just believe whatever Jacob says without giving me a chance to say what happened." I say, taking a deep breath before continuing.

"They went from loving me to death to not even giving me a chance to speak, The only difference is Jacob now being here. I have no idea what crawled up their asses to make them act this way other than him being here because it has to be something more than that, but i'm not going to stick around here and be used as a punching bag so Jacob can do whatever he wants and get close to Blake and Dylan and make them mad at me and push me away. So until they realize what they have done and fix it i'm done and not staying here or reaching out, they can reach out once they are ready to listen to me and apologize" I say. Toby nods "I understand, are you going to break up with them as well?" Toby asks and I honestly didn't think about that part yet. I take a moment to think about it before shaking my head "no, i'm going to write them a note before leaving and tell them we're on a break until this gets fixed. So not officially broken up but not fully together either" I say and Toby nods "ok" he says. I get up and look at the time and it's 8:55 meaning Blake and Dylan should be leaving for work at 9, "I'll leave while they are at work so that way I don't have to run into them" I say "where are you going to go?" Toby asks "maybe my moms or to Clara, Sara, and Maggies" I say "ok, i'll help you pack" Toby says "thank you" I say "it's no problem" Toby says "no not just for helping me pack for everything" I say "still it's no problem" Toby says. I feel kind of bad for lying to Toby about where I am going but I know if I go to my moms or Clara's that's the first two places they will go looking for me, if they do go looking for me.

Which is why instead I am going to go to Mason and Claytons old house they used to share, the only people who know about it are Mason, Clayton, Maria, and Kat and possibly uncle Drew but i'm not sure about that. But either way no one will know I am there and it keeps Blake and Dylan from finding me leaving the only way they can talk to me is by text or calls which is how I want it for now. While they are downstairs me and Toby go into their room and grab all my stuff out of there, little and big stuff. Although I only took the little stuff they didn't get me and the pacis that didn't have any of their pet names for me on them. Once we gathered everything we took it to Colton's room, having to make multiple trips since I have quite a lot of stuff. It's a good thing I got a luggage set for Christmas because it is coming in handy right now. With the two of us being good at packing unlike Colton it took us about 30 minutes to get all my stuff packed up, including my school stuff and medical stuff. All we had left to do was pack Ginger, Shadow, and Snowflakes stuff but most of their things are downstairs so we will put all my other stuff in my car first. "Hey Toby" I say "yeah?" he asks "could you put this on me please?" I ask and hold up my moms necklace, I am really missing her right now and Blake and Dylan taking away buddy isn't helping. Toby comes over to me and gently takes the necklace "of course I can" he says and then puts it on me "thank you" I say "your welcome" Toby says "now you get dressed and i'll go put these things in your car" he continued "thank you, put the smaller ones on the floor boards in the back and one in the front and then the big one in the trunk" I say "got it" Toby says and then walks off with all my bags.
