Problems Arising

Alex's pov
Last night ended up being really interesting. Blake and Dylan and me as well since Dylan was holding me showed Jacob to a guest room he could stay in for the next few days and Blake helped carry his stuff to the room. But after that he wouldn't leave us alone, I mean I know he just asked to stay for a while and might have wanted to talk about it but he didn't say anything about it. He kept watching how Blake and Dylan were taking care of me and kept watching how we interacted. It made me feel like some kind of science experiment or like I was a goldfish and I absolutely hated it. So because of that it made me become fussy because I didn't know how to tell Blake and Dylan how I felt while I was little so we ended up going to our room after a while. I'm really glad we did though because obviously they weren't going to just let him in our room especially since they said we were going to go to bed so Jacob went to his room, but that was after he had been watching us for over 30 minutes. We had finished lilo and stitch by that point and put on that episode of Bluey I had been watching while waiting for them to come home before going upstairs. Now I am big and it's 12pm and I'm waiting for Toby to get here. Danny left early this morning before anyone was up and Blake and Dylan left at 9 to go to work since they are still trying to fix some issues and they are supposed to be back at 2 but they said they might be a little late but will try to be home at 2. But that leaves me alone with Jacob until Toby gets here, I mean he's alright, but I still get that weird vibe from him then add in what happened last night with him watching us it just added to the weird vibe so it's making me be cautious around him.

Luckily Jacob didn't see Knox. Knox got picked up at 8:45 and Jacob didn't get up or well he didn't come downstairs where I am until 10. But Toby is supposed to get here anywhere from 12 to 12:15 so he should be here any minute and I can't wait for multiple reasons. Right now we are both sitting in the living room and I am on my phone trying not to pay attention to when I feel Jacobs eyes on me "hey Alex?" Jacob says and I look at him "yeah?" I ask "I'm sorry about last night, I realized after the fact I was making you uncomfortable which wasn't my intention. I just have never had a caregiver before and would really like one so I kept watching how you, Blake, and Dylan interacted so I could see what it looks like to have a caregiver or caregivers in your case" Jacob says "it's alright" I say not wanting to make him feel bad considering he just got kicked out of his house yesterday but I still feel a bit uncomfortable and still get a weird feeling from him. Luckily for me a minute or so later the doorbell rang meaning Toby is here, well most likely Toby is here there is a small chance it could be someone else. I get up and go to the door and look through the peephole before opening the door, I swear every time I go to open the door I can hear Blake and Dylan telling me to always look at who it is before opening the door and if I don't know who it is to get one of them or someone else to open the door. They say that for when i'm big, when i'm little i'm not allowed to open the door without someone with me, but I hardly get to open the doors I only do if Blake and Dylan aren't around because if they are one of them will get up to see who it is before I get the chance to.

I was right though and it is Toby that's at the door so I quickly unlock it and open it to let him in, "hey" Toby says "hi" I say and move out the way so he can come inside. Once he comes inside I close and lock the door "so what are we doing first?" Toby asks "well we can take your stuff to Colton's room since he said we could stay in there and then we need to have a chat" I say "alright. Is everything ok?" Toby asked "yeah, but you'll see why we need to chat in a minute. Follow me" I say. I then walked into the living room where Jacob was still sitting where he was before and was on his phone. Toby looked at him and then looked at me confused since the sleepover was only supposed to be us which technically it still is. It didn't take long for Jacob to notice us a minute at most but once he did he put his phone down and looked at us. Jacob waves at Toby and Toby waves back, "Toby is staying the night, I just wanted to let you know we'll be upstairs for a little bit if you need anything" I say "oh alright" Jacob says and with that we make our way upstairs "i'm guessing why he's here is what we need to discuss" Toby says lowly and I nod trying to keep this as quiet as we can while we are on the stairs where he could still possibly here us. Once we get to Colton's room I close the door once we are both inside and lock the door, luckily there is enough light in here from outside so we don't need to turn the lights on meaning Jacob won't know what room we are in. I know it seems like a bit much but we are going to be talking about him and we don't need him overhearing us since I want to ask Toby how he feels about him so we need it to be harder for him to know what room we are in.
