Mike and Will were sitting in an office, both had very visible bruises on their faces, behind them, the silhouettes of Nancy and Jonathan could be seen and that of another man who said -and if I don't tell your parents it's only because I owed you one, but I don't want to see them here ever again, is that clear?-

Jonathan answers -yes, thank you very much Eric- then the young adults walk up to their little brothers and they follow him to the car.

Once inside, Nancy asks -now yes... What happened?- with her arms crossed.

The boys in the backseat had a conversation with their eyes and finally Mike said -well, Richie wanted to watch that stupid movie- to which Will added -and Dan seemed interested too so...-

Jonathan who was driving asked incredulously -they left Richie and Danny alone?- Mike shrugged and answered -it seemed like a good idea at the time-

Nancy visibly upset asked -and what made them angry... this time?- apparently the situation was nothing new.

Mike replied -it was Richie's fault, he started talking nonsense, like always...- but Will interrupts him and says -no Mike, it was Dan's fault, he knows he shouldn't react that way and still...-

But the black-haired boy answers -no, this time Richie went too far, he's becoming more and more unbearable, that's why Eddie broke up with him-

Will reacted surprised and said -they broke up?... I didn't know that, I'm really sorry- while the car stopped in front of the Byers house.

Mike shrugs and says -that's more Richie's fault than mine, but thanks- as they got out of the car and entered the house.

Will asks -What happened? Is it unfixable?- the other shrugs and answers -I don't think so, Richie got really heavy with the pills, he almost pointed at his mom and said "it's her or me"-

Jonathan said -well since they got kicked out of the theater, how about a movie?- the boys nod and the oldest goes to the kitchen to make popcorn while they chose one.

Nancy follows him and asks - What are we going to do? - to which Jonathan asks - About what? -

She asks offended - What do you mean... about what? Our little brothers are on the couch discussing which of their multiple personalities is to blame for the fight they just had -

He answers by asking - And what else do you want us to do? - in a stoic tone, she desperately says - We should look for help, I don't know, maybe... –

But Jonathan, with a somewhat weary tone, asks -and when we get to the part about interdimensional monsters? Then what?-

Nancy comments -obviously we would have to ask Stinson to...- but Jonathan stops her and reminds her -we all agreed that we would only contact her in case of extreme emergency-

To which she responds -this is an emergency, they just hurt each other- he shrugs and answers -friends sometimes fight, sometimes over girls... sometimes over more serious things-

Nancy grumbles and answers -of course... since you have so much experience in that subject- that comment left the atmosphere silent, until she herself said again -... sorry- and hugged him.

Jonathan only answers -look, it's not the ideal situation, but at least they're calm most of the time... the problem comes when Danny and Richie run into each other, you know they can't stand each other-

Nancy answers ironically -don't tell me, the other day Richie was talking to his friend Beverly on the phone and he kept mentioning the "damn coconut head" hahaha, she thinks he likes him-

They both laugh at that and don't mention it anymore, then Nancy says -we should at least tell Joyce and Hopper, because I don't think they'll do it- pointing to the living room.

Jonathan mentions -it's not a good idea, Danny is... a very uncomfortable subject to discuss with my mom... and the truth is I don't get along with him very well either-

Nancy asks -so the plan is just to ignore them until it passes?- visibly frustrated.

He asks -any ideas that don't involve putting them on pills and putting them in a padded room?- in a much lower tone of voice than usual.

After thinking about it for a moment she comments -I don't like this at all...- Jonathan answers taking a bowl -neither do I, but it is what it is, we just have to keep Richie and Danny separated and...- but at that moment they hear voices in the kitchen.

Richie says -FORGET IT, I WON'T WATCH A MOVIE ABOUT CANNIBALS, YOU'RE DISGUSTING- and Danny lashes out -well sorry for not believing that the 3 stooges are a big deal-

Jonathan and Nancy roll their eyes in sync and go to separate them.

I'm not quite sure where to put this, it could be on the timeline where you've already seen all the movies, or it could be on the timeline of the movies.

And today is my birthday.
