D'you think I'm weird?
Liam read in the diary about what Ace's band was doing, and asked, puzzled -How the hell would you know that? Now it's obvious that at least part of it is my imagination...- with a hint of resentment.
And then, for some strange reason, he decided to dedicate a page to the lyrics of the song Lollipop, a moment of incredible tension arrived.
And he read aloud -D'you think I'm weird?- in a dry voice.
As he continued reading Chris's response, he dropped the diary on the floor. Finally, Will, completely furious, grabbed it and started tearing out pages, crumpling them, then slammed it against the wall.
Then he walks over to the closet and starts pounding on it with his fists, until the skin on his knuckles tears and the wood begins to give way under the blows.
Devlin enters the room and pulls him away, saying -Hey, hey, hey, if this breaks, we'll both get it-
Then Will starts pacing around the room in circles like a caged animal, his eyes red with tears he refused to shed, and he says -HE'S A FUCKING BASTARD-
Devlin looks at the journal on the floor and asks -Which part are you on?- with concern, but also a touch of anxiety.
Will says, still very annoyed -He told me the exact same thing. I can't remember a single memory where he didn't say it... "Weird kid" "Why are you so weird?" "Let's see if you can finally get over being weird"- He sits on his bed and bows his head.
Devlin, with regret in his eyes, says -You have to finish this... trust me- He picks up the journal and places it on his desk.
His partner raises his head and asks -What for? So you can use me to heal your fucking traumas?-
Henry looks at him, very bewildered, and asks -Uhhh?-
The other asks in a malicious tone while raising his head -What? Did you think I wouldn't notice?... That could be seen from a mile away-
He gets out of bed and walks toward him, asking -What happened to your daddy? Did he drink too? Was he a womanizer? Violent?... Or did he sneak into your room at night to...?-
Henry grabs him by the shoulders of his shirt and makes a fist, but seeing his eyes, the pain beneath his sarcastic smile, he lets go and says -You're Dan, you just want to fight... I won't give you the pleasure- and lets go.
Dan looks at him strangely, and Devlin continues -If you want to, burn the fucking diary, I don't give a shit...- He looks at him very angrily and says -And if you want to know so much... my father has early-onset Alzheimer's... The last time I saw him, he kept calling me Sam-
The other asks -Who's Sam?- To which Devlin replies -I have no fucking idea...- and walks to the door.
Dan asks -Where are you going?- To which Henry replies -There's a party at Beta House-
Liam excitedly says -I'll come with you... and then, more calmly, we'll burn the journal with our breath-
Devlin shrugs and says -That's a good plan- and they both leave the bedroom.
Okay, I know it's a bit short, but the next one will be "longly" and I didn't want to make it any longer.
Okay, back to reading the diary. I know some of you are disappointed not to see the events of "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice," but I promise we'll get back to it later. But I'm warning you right now, it will be... MUCH later.
