"Lucas"
On the screen, Liam begins to open the diary.
Mike angrily comments -Didn't you hear?... don't get involved in other people's dramas- in a scolding, father-son tone.
Will, completely furious, yells -HOO, WHAT THE FUCK...- He gets up from his seat and asks, -SO WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO? STAND THERE, ADMIRING MYSELF IN THE MIRROR AND TALKING TO MYSELF?- He looks into his eyes and gesticulates with his hands.
Jonathan asks Steve -Blue?- in a whisper, and Steve replies –Green- in the same low tone.
So the eldest Byers son stood up and put a hand on his younger brother's shoulder and said, -Calm down, there's no need to...- but Will interrupts him -Sure, easy for you to say, you're not going to become a nymphomaniac-
Dustin clarifies -If anything, he'd be a satyr because...- Everyone stared at him dirty-eyed, so he shrugged and said -I'll shut up now-
Steve says -If you want, you can come run with me in the mornings...- Will looks at him and replies -I don't need distractions, thanks-
But Harrington clarifies -No, I'm saying it because, honestly... you look good with some meat on your bones- pointing at a shirtless Liam on the screen, which some agreed with.
Will blushed and fast-forwarded the video until he saw Gordie sitting on a log writing.
Jonathan comments -Don't take it so personally... things will be different now anyway- trying to make the comment as neutral as possible so as not to upset him further.
Will nods, then takes a breath and explains -It's just that Henry and I... well, "Liam" and him seemed to be getting along... I thought things would get better, that college wouldn't be so bad... but we messed up... like always- in a rueful tone.
Lucas tries to say -You know... that school looks good, if it has a basketball team maybe I could...-
But the younger Byers stabs angrily -of course, why does poor, pathetic Will need people chasing him around his whole fucking life, right?... in case he breaks into pieces halfway through- in a very sullen tone.
The basketball player replies -I'm just trying to help...- but Will lashes out -I didn't ask you...- looking at him very angrily.
Lucas didn't understand why, but suddenly the memory of the kitchen appeared in his mind, and he sighed, realizing he'd fallen into the same pattern as the others.
He was about to apologize, but Dustin gave him a "not now" look, so he just sat back in his seat, uncomfortable.
Susana suddenly asks -Your name's Lucas... right?- He is very puzzled at how she could speak as if they didn't really know each other, he just nodded, grateful for the distraction from the awkward moment, even though the pleasure wouldn't last long.
She responds by reminiscing -I once had a friend named that, we used to share "Tales from the Crypt" comics- in a nostalgic tone, which caught everyone's attention.
Mike asks, absorbed -Did you read comics?- Susanna replies -Yes, back in the golden age, before the great censorship-
Lucas asks -And what happened to that other "me"?- in a somewhat amused tone, but she responds coldly -He died...- which also killed any joy.
Hopper sighs sadly and says -Wow... I haven't thought about him in years- Robin asks -What happened to him?-
Jim shrugs and replies -A football accident, let's move on, before...- but Susanna continues, -Accident? Is that what they call it now? A broken rib impaled his heart, and that's all folks, never better said... I thought the term was "reckless homicide," Mr. Police-
