Well, that didn't happen.

Liam stared at the boxes on Henry's bed; he'd already been reassigned.

Then he sees the journal on the desk, and sighing in resignation, he mutters -I can't believe I'm going to do this- He walks over to the leather notebook and picks it up. He picks it up where he left off "D'you think I'm weird?"

That still irritated him greatly, but summoning some self-control from who knows where, he continued reading Chris's answer to the question and said -That sounds like something...um...- He remains silent for a moment, thinking very hard, until he gives up and just says, -...my brother-

And he continued reading the discussion with Chris about their inevitable separation. It brought back memories for Will. The phrase "What's asshole about wanting to be with your friends?" cut much deeper than he would have liked.

Voices emerged from his memories: "The Demogorgon got me" "They all treat me like I'm gonna break! Like I'm a baby" " Can we please play D&D now?" "Stupid, so stupid," "Well we used to be best friends!"

Liam wipes the tears from his eyes and continues reading: "It's asshole if your friends drag you down!" Then he comments -He dragged himself down without anyone's help- in a bitter voice.

Then he read Teddy and Vern's conversation about supercartoons and wondered -Were they talking so loudly that he heard them from that distance?- He couldn't quite understand the diary's strange narrative.

Then he read that Chris commented, "You could be a real writer someday, Gordie" He couldn't help but laugh and commented -Hahaha, well, that didn't happen, hahaha-

The phrases, "... It's a stupid wasted time!" and "Denny was the one he cared about, and don't try to tell me different!"

Will felt those words weigh heavily on him, but he continued reading.

And then Chris said "Wish the hell I was your dad... and if your parents are too fucked up to do it then maybe I should" Liam commented -Well, either he was secretly in love with Grandma, or this is getting really weird-

There he read a very strange part that caught his attention.

"At that moment, I wanted to tell him, but I just couldn't. It would ruin the trip for everyone. Besides... I hadn't made my decision yet."

Liam asked -What? Did I miss something?- He checked the previous section, but he hadn't missed anything, so he just shrugged and continued.

Halfway through writing Buddy Holly's "Everyday," he came to the pages he'd torn out and said –Oops-

He checked the trash can, under the beds, on the desks, but nothing... the pages were gone. Liam shrugged and said -Well, it must have been nothing important-

And he got to the part where they arrived at the makeshift camp.

Okay, I know it's a very short part, but I really need it to be separate from the next part. It's very important for this arc, and believe me, you'll love it.

.

Also, I know you're going to be mad for skipping the train part. Sorry, but it doesn't fit into my narrative RIGHT NOW, but the missing pages will appear... someday.
