Devlin was sitting in the waiting room of his dorm, trying to read a book, looking tired, when he suddenly saw a red-haired boy wearing rather short clothes coming out of the dorm hallway.

He approached him and asked -Hello... excuse me, which room are you from?- The redhead looked at him suspiciously and asked -Why...?- dragging out the question.

Henry, somewhat embarrassed, replied -Because it's 1 a.m. and I already want to go to sleep- The redhead laughed and replied -I understand the feeling... from room 25... I think- and left the dorm.

Devlin sighed and, looking at his watch, said -Well, here I go...- He walked down the hallway until he reached room 15, where a tie was hanging from the doorknob.

He knocks on the door, saying -Maldonado... the rules you yourself established are very clear... "visitors" are only allowed until 1:00-

He hears movement on the other side and says -Look, I have to take an oral Spanish test in 6 hours and I really need to get some sleep. You know how strict the maestra Marg...-

Then the door opens, revealing a beautiful blonde woman in her 30s on the other side.

Henry asks in amazement -¿maestra Margarita?- She replies –puedes hacer tu prueba mañana Henry- to which he only responds –gracias- as he watches her walk down the hall.

Then, astonished, he enters the room and sees Liam lying in his bed covered with a blanket.

Seeing his expression, Henry comments -Well... if that doesn't cheer you up, nothing will- only for Liam to reply -Please shut up...- covering only his face with his pillow.

Henry shrugs and replies -You know... it's funny, I always thought you had... "other tastes"-

Liam takes off his pillow and asks -What do you mean by that?- Henry replies -Nothing, it's just...-

But the other, already annoyed, sits down and says -No, look me in the eyes and tell me what you meant by that-

Henry responds -Will you stop looking at me like that? I didn't stab your cat ... I just want to know what to expect-

Liam replies -Expecting anything is a mistake, to begin with. I don't have to explain anything to you... and those labels do more harm than good to our society, They only stigmatize and divide us in such a way that...-

Henry responds -Okay, okay, I won't ask again. I'll just move the visiting time to 12... okay?-

Liam answers -Fine...- but still looking at him angrily, I ask -And you want to explain to me, what are you doing with "that"?- He points to Devlin's desk, which had Gordie's diary on it.

Henry simply replies -I read it- Liam replies -I told you to throw it away- But Henry clarifies, -No, you told me to "Get rid of this" You didn't specify when or how-

They both glance at each other until Henry asks -Have you read it all?- Liam leaned back again. Henry asks again -Was it your dad's? Are you the kid on the shoulder?- This made him look at him doubtfully for a moment, but he remained silent, refusing to answer.

Henry tells him -You should read it all- To which Dan responds by sitting down -I don't feel like it- in a very bad mood.

Devlin adds -Well, don't... but if you do, you'll probably run back to hug him... or smash his face in-

Will looks at him strangely, and suddenly self-conscious, covering himself with the blanket, to which Henry finishes -You read and see-

Suddenly, the phone rang. Henry, getting closer, picked it up and answered -Yeah... hello... Byers? No, you made a mistake. I called reception again and...-

But Will answers -It's for me, it's for me- Henry says -Okay, but please put your underwear on first- blocking the phone's sound with his palm.

After some acrobatics under the blanket, Liam stands up and Henry hands him the phone.

He says -Yeah... Grandma?- with some joy, then moves the phone away, and shouts can be heard on the other end. He puts it back to his ear and says -Okay, sorry, sorry... what's up?-

His calm expression slowly disappears as he says -What?... but she just spoke to him... it can't be-

After that, the conversation became very monosyllabic. Liam just kept repeating "yes," "no," and "Okay" until he finally said -No, I don't think I can make it. Sorry, I have a project stuck and... yeah, sure, I'll come see you on vacation... take care of yourself too- Then he hung up and sat down in his chair.

Seeing his expression, Henry asked -Did something happen?- To which Liam, absorbed, clarified -My grandfather died-

Okay, straight to the point, because I don't want to dwell on this or have to explain it twice.

"Squirrel_Tail22" established that Mike, a clearly heterosexual character, not only in canon but also in his first work, "The Party Watches The Black Phone," became bisexual by merging him with Richie Tozier.

So, since Dan Torrance is clearly heterosexual in "Doctor Sleep," I feel entitled to do the same. You made the rules, I'm just following them.

And just to be clear, Liam isn't bisexual; he's more of a "no labels", the orientation I identify with, by the way.

And in the next episode, there are spoilers for "Bettlejuice 2," so I'd recommend watching it before continuing.
