I was smiling when I got back underneath my covers. Prince Gabriel left my room after we started to catch up.

He complimented me on my piano playing skills and I had to laugh. I was awful. He told me about his own schedule and I was fascinated. Prince Gabriel did a lot in this castle. He worked with his father, taking care of problems that are associated with Endhart and our neighbor kingdoms. He trained with swords and I have to say I never saw one before. We talked some more until it was late.

He wished me goodnight and left my room. I snuggled up with my pillow and fell asleep. Who ever knew how this night would have ended?

I was stirred awake by a knock at the door. I turned and noticed the sun was barely making an appearance. It was so early. Another knock came by and so I forced myself up and walked to the door to open it.

It was a maid. She had a small note in her hand.

"Miss Ezra, I have a note for you from his Highness," she said.

"A note?"

She handed me the note and waited. I looked at the note and it read:

Ezra, meet me at my quarters. - G

I looked up at her, blushing. "Have you read it?"

"No, miss," she answered.

I looked at her closely then shrugged. "Well okay thanks." I shut the door and got ready.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was at his door and took a deep breath. Why did he wanted to meet me in there? Thoughts ran through my mind and I felt my face warm up. I should really stop blushing as much, I still remember Prince Gabriel pointing it out at our first ball together.
I knocked. I didn't need to wait long since the door flew opened. Prince Gabriel was there, already dressed.
"You're here," he whispered.
I smiled. "Well I'm not ignoring you anymore." I winked.
Warmth filled his eyes. "I'm glad. That was hell."
I grinned. "So am I going to stand out here all morning?"
He shook his head. "No, of course. Come in." He stepped aside and let me inside his quarters.
He closed the door after I was in. "So why do you needed me here?" I asked.
He shrugged. "I don't know, you tell me. Why would invite a friend into my room?" He rubbed his chin, deep in thought.
I smirked. "I can see you're confused."
He removed his hand from his chin. "Ah, I know now."
"And that is?"
"I want to steal you for the day."
I raised my eyebrows. "And you thought that by calling me to your quarters will do just that?"
"As a matter of fact, yes," Prince Gabriel said.
"So where you're taking me?" I asked.
He reached out his hand. "Come with me."
I didn't had to think about it, I took his hand. "Of course I'll join you."
He grinned. "Follow me then."
I expected him to walk over to the door but instead he walked over to the wall that had a portrait of a landscape. He pushed the portrait inward and then another door appear out of no where.
