The next morning, I woke up next to Gabriel. The fact that I was going to wake up to see his face every morning, day and night of my life made me smiled. I grabbed his hand and kissed it.
I looked up to see his face and a small smile was appearing on his face. His eyes opened and his smile became bigger once they landed on me.
"Good morning, my princess," Gabriel said as his arm went around my back.
I pulled the sheets up to cover myself. "Good morning, my prince."
He chuckled. "How are you?"
"I'm happy, how about you?" I asked.
"I'm happy, too." He kissed my forehead. "You're my happiness, Ezra."
I put my arm around him and I laid my head on his chest. "And you are mine."
"Ready to start our honeymoon trip?" Gabriel asked.
I nodded, eagerly. "Yes I am. I'm ready to begin my life with you."
Gabriel smiled as he caressed my cheek. "I'm ready to do everything with you." Then he pulled me in for a kiss.

A month went by and my honeymoon with Gabriel was the most wonderful time I had ever had in my life.
Now it was time to get back to the castle, to Endhart. When I got back, preparations for my coronation had already begun.
On the way to the castle, I had asked about the coronation.
"Gabriel, I just thought about this, haven't I already become a princess when I married you?" I'd asked.
"Technically you did but I received word that you deserve a coronation," Gabriel had explained.
"By whom?" I'd asked.
"My own grandmother," he'd replied.
As it had turned out, she spoke with my mother a lot during the month. She really liked me when I had first introduced myself to her a week before the wedding. She saw my gratefulness and my effort and came to the conclusion that I deserved a coronation to showcase the grace and inspiration I have shown.
I was now in my new room, Gabriel's room, and I was putting on my flats before I head out. I was required to meet in the study to discuss the coronation day.
I headed out and made my way to the study. I passed my old room and smiled at one memory. The memory was me looking at Gabriel, trying to figure out a way to make him fall for me and failing...at first. I was no longer that girl. As it turned out, I didn't need to try. I was just being myself. That could be one of the reasons Gabriel took interest in me in the first place.
There were new decorations up in the castle. There were red roses in every vase and the chandeliers made everything look so golden and homey.
This castle in which I have once been a terrible place gradually became my warm new home.
I entered the study and there was Gabriel, King Gavin and some advisors from both sides, I supposed.
"Hello there," I said as I walked to Gabriel's side.
I curtsied when King Gavin turned to me, after nodding to his advisor.
"Ah, Ezra, good you're here. We'll be moving on to the dining room," King Gavin said.
"Of course," I said.
King Gavin smiled at me as he nodded once more. Then he gestured his advisors to move on out. Gabriel nodded at his advisors and they followed King Gavin and his advisors.
