I kept blushing every time Gabriel leaned in to give me a kiss on the cheek. He held my hand the whole time during our walk in the garden.
I smiled as he then wrapped his arms around me from behind. He rested his chin on my shoulder.
"Ezra," he whispered. The sun was about to come down and it made me realized how long we had spent out here.
We watched the sunset and I turned around to face Gabriel. He set his hands on my hips. At his touch, I started to blush. I held onto his arms.
"Yes?"
He smiled as he looked down at me. "You're so small."
"Hey! We aren't discussing my height here." I giggled. "So what my head only reaches up to your chin."
He laughed. "I think it's cute." He leaned forward to kiss my forehead. "I'm so lucky to have you."
"Is it because of my height?"
He shook his head, grinning. "No. It's just who you are. You're Ezra and I love you."
"Remember when we first saw each other?" I asked.
Gabriel cringed at the memory. "I didn't gave the great first impression."
I smiled. "You didn't even wanted me here."
Gabriel groaned and hid his face on my shoulder. "I was so rude! I can't believe I acted like that in front of you."
I laughed. His breath was tickling the skin there. "Well you changed. That's all that matter."
He came out of his hiding spot and faced me. "I find it very amusing that I changed." I raised an eyebrow. "Never would I have thought that I would become a bit warm or even fallen in love."
"I can't believe you had fallen in love with me," I said. "You fell in love with a peasant."
Gabriel broke into a grin. "I have, haven't I?" Then his lips touched mine again. My second kiss with Gabriel and in general. His hands was at my hips again and he pulled me closer. He deepened the kiss again. I still blush but I decided that I should push aside my embarrassment on affection. So I did that. I deepened the kiss even more and my hands grabbed at his hair. We continued to kiss some more.
Gabriel then broke the kiss off and was gasping. "Whoa, Ezra," he said.
I smiled, a blush appearing again. "Yes?"
"You're...surprising."
I rolled my eyes, still smiling. I pulled away from his hold. Gabriel followed me inside and was by my side in a swift.
"So are we going to keep our romance a secret?" I asked.
Gabriel looked at me and then back ahead. "Let's not tell my mother but my father knows."
Now I looked at him. "What?"
Gabriel looked down at the floor before him a bit, smiling a little then he looked ahead. "I asked him for advice."
"Advice?"
Gabriel chuckled a bit. "Yes, some advice. I didn't knew what to do and so I asked him for advice because I found myself falling for you, little by little. He just told me to admit my feelings to you and see how you would handle it."
I looked ahead. "Think I handled it pretty well?"
Gabriel grinned. "Yes, very well."
We stopped by the doors that would lead us into the dining room. "Ezra?" Gabriel said.
